Just had my Rock Slider installed (4 weeks ago).
I am now seeing rust at the welds; is this a reason for concern?
Service from ACE Engineering is great; they proposed to replace the rock sliders.

Rust Never Sleeps and I would take them up on their offer for replacement.

Sliders will get scratched and gouged SLIDING on rocks. Then your eventually gonna get rust. I understand you don’t want to see this on a fairly new product but what are you gonna do when you actually use sliders?

I wouldn’t hassle with removing and shipping and reinstall new sliders for that little blemish. Go drive your Jeep and have fun. Don’t sweat the small stuff.

My $.02, clean it and rattle can the rust spot. I had rust spots on the welds too and as the above post stated, you'll get scrapes and gouges from the rocks. I touched those up too.
