Hey OP did you ever figure out what when wrong? Mine just started to do the same. Only blows hot air, and temperature I can only set low or high, nothing in between
There’s only a few things it could be. High pressure cutoff, low pressure cutoff, relay, or condenser.

Unless under warranty, I’d go to a trusted mechanic for diagnosis and repair. I just had to do this with my wife’s Yukon and it was *much* less expensive than the dealer would have been.

You know my Jeep is super weird. It went haywire after our camping trip, and we were on our way home. That's when it went coocoo. While getting gas I tried pulling fuses for all AC related items and no joy. However when I was almost home I tried hitting Max A/C and lo and behold that blew cold air, but only if I hit the max option. Still can't change the temperature.

The next day, I was going to try to reset using Tazer and also just disconnect the battery and reconnect to see if that fixes it. But before doing so I started the car just to check one more time. And everything went back to normal lol. A/C working normally, I can change the temperaure, and my offroad pages came back. Super weird.

Thanks for your help though!

HVAC on these things sucks. I miss old fashioned analog sliders.

At one point my head unit was bricked, but HVAC still worked. I thought that was weird.

Oh, well. Glad you’re working. My wife’s Yukon cost $900 to fix.

Yeah, I had done my research. GMC dealer would have been 1,300 - 2,000. Found a great local mechanic via a friend, instead.

lol, no. The hvac control module, the body module, the pcm, multiple sensors, compressor clutch, 4 actuator motors. The most likely problem is the hvac module, but it’s just a guess.

I have the same issue with mine. Did you happen to notice the ambient temperature fluctuating? With mine the temperature will show extreme cold temperatures. Obviously the AC compressor will not come on with temperature readings that low. After trying a few things with no success my dealer changed the body control module. That fixed it for a brief period. Maybe a month or so. Now I’m having the same issues again. I lived with it for a while but obviously no AC is an issue in the summer. I’m taking it in again this week. I also get random hood ajar warnings as well.

Sounds like you have a wiring problem.

Re-wiring was the first attempt to fix it. That didn’t work. Next was changing the ambient temperature sensor. That didn’t help either. The third attempt was the body control module. That fixed it for a month or so then things started popping up again.

The ambient temp sensor, hood adjust sensor, and body control module are all in line on the wiring diagram. I’m beginning to
Think it may be a software issue and not an electrical component. I’ll find out more info next week

What do you mean by rewiring? Did you do the work yourself?

I'm resurrecting this thread. The A/C on '21 JLUR suddenly stopped working. Less than 9k miles. Worked fine one minute. Ran into a store and started it back up an nothing. Compressor is not kicking on. 10 amp fuse under hood is fine. Swapped relays and no difference. Dealers are all booked for 3+ weeks!!! NOT happy. Nearly brand new and can't even get reasonable service date on a critical item.

Any suggestions?

Jeep Cares??? Any input on the inability to even get a reasonable service appointment?

I have went to the dealer several times with this issue and they replaced the control (not sure name) but I still am having the issue and even worse! This was all under warranty, but now I'm out of warranty and still need it resolved. I just can't leave my vehicle for 5 days to diagnose every single time. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

Get a loaner vehicle. It will make them work faster, and you won’t be out of a ride.
