A couple people in the 2018 threads got them cloned at 45 days I believe. But didn’t someone post in this thread they got it at 27 days?

I wish they would just clone them already. Anyone past 30 days should just get another.

I’m at 45 days today. Which in my mind is absurd.
It’s likely that your dealer told them not to clone it because they don’t want another unit in inventory like the one you ordered. When my dealer called their factory rep asking about mine (when it was in I for a couple of weeks), the rep asked them, “would you like me to clone it?” The dealer said no because they know the original one will originally show up and they didn’t want it in inventory. They had that happen to another loaded 2 door Rubicon order earlier in the year and the original unit is still on their lot long after the clone was delivered.

I’d be leaning on your dealer since they’ve had the option to have it cloned a long time ago.

Interesting. I had asked about that and they didn’t really respond to it. I did find out from Jeep chat that The part I was waiting for arrived. We’ll see if that’s true.

If I don’t see movement this week I’ll get on the dealer.

Is there a known ETA once you hit JS? Hopefully your wait isn't much longer!

I ordered mine at 8 am sept 15th, when the order book opened. Dealer had it in the system at noon same day. It’s stuck in C status.

Did you get your Jeep yet? If not, it must be getting close if you saw movement on the 19th!

We'll need pics of that beast when you get it!

Nah. I’m on vacation right now so it’s not a big deal if it doesn’t come in for a little while. I wanted it to drive in the mountains but given the widespread steering issues on so many of them, I might have been better served driving the great handling Lexus on the steep, twisty Tennessee mountain roads this past week. Saw one road that was for 4WD vehicles only, but it was closed for winter so I didn’t miss anything.

Glad you are enjoying your trip. I wouldn't worry too much about steering. Mine was a December 2017 build and the steering has been perfect from day 1. I know folks have had some issues, though. It is a blast on twisty roads like that. I'm sure you are suffering in that Lexus, right? Lol!

That’s crazy! What did you order?
I ordered an unlimited Rubicon. Talked to The dealer, but they weren’t able to get updates last week because of limited staff at the factory. Checking again Wednesday.

I also emailed FCA earlier and they replied that they would also check when the plant reopens Wednesday

Got a call from FCA this morning. My Jeep has been moved into G status, in trim. Evidently, the dealer said they added the 8.4 infotainment on November 1 to work with the advanced safety group, but the system did not accept it, so it just sat there in C status until Mike, or his office intervened yesterday.

They also confirmed that the Mopar maxcare lifetime warranty is no longer available. It has been taken out of the system totally
