2021 JLUR, on longer drives with A/C going, it periodically stops cooling for approx. 30 seconds, about every 90 mins or so. Wasn’t sure if this was a cooling issue or a feature to keep the cooling coil from freezing over. I typically keep my A/C on recirc mode. By the time I notice the air from the vents isn’t as cool it usually starts cooling again. I’m in the SE so it’s hot (mid-eighties+) and humid (70%+) on the reg.

Not sure if anyone else experiences the same.

I just picked up a '22 and it does the same thing - but with a lot more regularity than that. Hot & humid here as well (South Texas). My only gripe about the vehicle so far - loved it so far - but this is a bit annoying.

My 22 JLUR does it every 90 minutes as well down here in the swamp... It reminds me how lucky I am to have AC :)

Thanks for the replies, good to know. It is a very minor inconvenience and actually a welcomed feature if you have ever had a car whose coil would freeze over. I had an old 97 Accord that did, it was very annoying.

My Jeep's A/C provides constant cooling, from the moment it's turned on until I shut it off.

I've a Sport w/analog HVAC control knobs. I say that because prior threads on this subject suggest that the issue of interrupted cooling is possibly linked with the touchscreen HVAC icons on the 7" and 8.4" screens. Just a thought.
