Why would the radiator fan come on? Is it overheating?

How mechanically competent and how risk averse are you?

Ok…sorry life gets in the way…

So I originally did the fuse checks and pull out and make sure all seated. I did A/C/radio reboot. I changed the cabin filter, which was filthy.

So the A/C eventually comes on, the Radiator electric fan comes on…it takes A LONG time (about 1/2 hr soonest) but the A/C does kick in and blow very cold air. From work to pick up my kids (15-20 min drive), A/C blowing hot air and I run tranny in manual to keep RPMs around 3500 continuously with windows down, A/C on full fan and circulation on to try to get coolant temp up to 224-226. Then when I get to the place to pick my kids up and park the jeep running when in idol, SOMETIMES when I go in to get my kids, I come back and A/C has kicked on.

Soooo, I am not sure what I need to look at next?

Okay let's try this again. You have a 2019 so check your coolant levels and thermostat. After all the Love bugs power wash your radiator and do a flush. Especially here in Florida! I also live in Central Florida, and I do the above as a regular PM. Check for collapsed hoses and have the refringent recharged if you haven't done so. Let us know how you make out.

Is your compressor engaging on a cold start or not? Why are you trying to get coolant temp up?

Which A/C control system do you have and what are your settings?

Sounds like low refrigerant in the system. When it gets hotter it has enough pressure to allow the compressor to start. I would take a uv flashlight and look for a leak (assuming the factory uses leak detection oil in the system).

Had the same issue on my truck, was a bad o ring at the bulkhead fitting. Also same issue in my caddy, was a bad compressor.

It does seem that way, if we could get any straightforward info. The factory A/C oil is barely fluorescent at all, it would need to be recharged first most likely.

It's all speculation until you get some gauges on it. First thing you do with any AC issue is get some gauges on it.

Ehh, with the price of Freon these days, and given you will lose a little bit just from checking, I’d check data and obvious circuits first. If access to a scanner is available, you can check refrigerant pressure directly without loss of expensive 1234yf.
