8.4 Backup Camera wasn't working

Some of the apps in the Uconnect 8.4 were also unresponsive, the backup camera didn't come on in reverse, the backup camera button was also unresponsive.

Pulled the battery negative for about 10 minutes, the camera started to work, unsurprising some apps were missing, the only two I use are Off-Road and Hybrid pages, they came back after a hour or so.

Aside from the Uconnect generally being ?, it's asinine for apps to disappear, especially the Hybrid and Off-road pages.

Yea UConnect is hot garbage... btw the reason why apps disappear and come back after hard reset like that is because the head unit needs to "verify" that you're allowed to have those apps. It was a mess back when the JL was first released and the Rubicon was the only model "allowed" to have the off-load pages...

If I remember correctly, it was also only on Rubicons with 8.4" screens.

yup and even then it didn't show right away, there was an update to the head unit to get it working. something us early JL adopters paid for, but had to wait to get access to.

I had an older built 2018 JL Sahara with the 8.4 which had the off-road pages, I was never a fan of these Uconnect systems, I can do without the screen also.
