I reported this to the dealer service centre and they couldn't find anything wrong, which is what I suspected from them.
It hasn't happened to me recently but when it does, the next day it is fine.

sorry to pull out an old thread... but is there any atual fixes for the Reverse Cam blackout screen issue?
mine is really odd, started acting up recently. In the mornings, the backup cam works.. till about 6pm when i drive home, then it becomes a black screen 9not entirely black, still has the parking indicator lines, just no video).
dealer said if its not a big deal, then come round during the next service (in Jan 2024) and they will do a latest software update cuz they need the car there the whole day.
... in the meanwhile, just wondering if the gurus here have any fixes in place.
