I have been reading the whole post. My M200 has broken splines and 2WD is not working. Considering this fix/upgrade option but sorry, still not sure what is the right replacement for the transmission before adding the Ox's locker plus rear axles. The ox link is gone.
Jeep not moving in 2WD, only in 4WD. Dealer diagnosed that rear pinion shaft has broken splines. They would order parts:
68639147AA (Axle-Service Rear in some sites referenced as Rear Axle Assembly or Service Rear Axle)
68393687AA, Axle rear shaft
It would take weeks and I need to move my RV...
Got stranded in the middle of nowhere in Montana. All of the sudden , Jeep stopped getting traction plus some cranky noise below. Could no move it.
By sheer coincidence switched to 4WD and voila, car started moving and could return after 3 plus hour waiting for the tow car that never showed up...
Original radio has no SiriusGuardian, hotspot services. With the new radio I can enable those , but in the Jeep Database my VIN is linked to featureless 5 inches radio, thus I cannot enable those services.
