I know who I am partial too. ;)
Make sure whomever you go with, has their coils tuned to the EV battery.

What's the backspace (or offset and width) on your wheels? Make sure you check that against the lift requirements, some LCAs are not made to accommodate stock-ish offsets.

To be honest, for your use case, spending more on shocks and going with a spacer lift isn't a bad idea.

Looks like you could use more space with those tires…..

I just put the Teraflex ST2 2.5" lift, $1324, on my Sahara two weeks ago.
https://teraflex.com/jl-4dr-2-5-sport-st2-suspension-system-no-shocks.html
I’ve got extra weight, Al bumper, winch, and a few hundred pounds in the back - jack, chain, tools… and I was a bit surprised that my lift ended up near 4 inches. Not sure what to think about that yet. I was expecting closer to 2-3 inches. So the comment about double checking the springs is very appropriate.

I was not going for a softer ride - just the opposite, but I have been happy with my first two offroad trips. Lots of clearance and that suspension handles the whoopsies (desert moguls, I call them) really well. Still running with 33” tires, though.

The majority of spring lifts are rated for a heavy Rubicon, which is generally about an inch taller than a non-rubi. Surprising you got that much out of a non-4xe kit though.

Shock eye to shock eye at ride height should get you a pretty decent comp. My MC 3.5" springs were ~24.25" Front and 27" Rear. A net change of about 4" over stock. Rubi springs with a 2" front spacer and 1.5" rear spacer measured 22 front, 24.25" rear.

The Teraflex kit has a 4Xe option - which is the one I ordered - although that is probably rated for the Rubicon. My front shock dimension with the lift is just a hair under 24” (didn’t measure this before) and the body is about 4” higher than what I started with. Can’t yet say I am unhappy with that height but I am concerned about possible steering implications (track bar, etc.) So far nothing I have noticed, but I am an amature. I’m still confused on the differences between the different Jeeps when it comes to the suspensions.

JKS has lower spring rate than others - heck even their HD springs tend to be on the softer side compared to EVO/Clayton etc.

EVO 4xe specific springs are a solid option
Clayton springs are fantastic, but I have stopped recommending them due to them shipping same set as gas jeep and calling out you will get exact lift height - most 4xe owners ended up with rear sag. If you are getting Clayton get the rear spring in HD version at the least.
No idea about Fabtech - looks like a good lift for Sahara as you get 3" instead of 2.5 to account for the lower fenders (that is if you are only after 2.5" lift)

Other options to consider
- AEV 2.5" kit for 4xe (you can run up to tall 35s on a Sahara)
- Teraflex 2.5/3.5 for 4xe

I've got a Rubicon FXE.

I've spent a lot of time researching suspension and coincidentally narrowed down my choices to the two new options Grey Wolf brought up: Teraflex and AEV.

Specifically I am looking at the Teraflex RT 2.5" with Falcon 3.3 adjustable shocks and the AEV 2.5" Dual Sport XP with Bilstein XP8100 shocks.

I very much considered other options with accutune fox 2.0 RR shocks, but i feel for my use case the Teraflex and the AEV are the right path. Not much of a rockcrawler, but i get on a lot of rocky trails and desert, and not really pushing beyond level 5/6 trails.

My one hang up in deciding between the two is that the teraflex comes with some useful new components like adjustable track bar, adjustable LCAs, etc. The AEV kit uses geometry brackets to reset/use stock components which i don't think is the end of the world though...it does appear to need a separate adjustable track bar installed with the kit.

I also caught between the adjuster falcon shocks but the perhaps better Bilstein shocks that AEV tunes to work with its own kit.

I'm leaning to the AEV...but waiting to see if any father's day or 4th of July sales sway me away.

If i wanted to do some heavy rock crawling though these two options wouldn't be at the top of my list.

I waited for AEV for a while, they were out of stock for a long time. I do see them in stock now though. Clayton was offering a discount, so i jumped on it.
I don’t do rock crawling, so Clayton is overkill for me for sure.

Teraflex kits not needing a geobracket is why I selected them over AEV. I've been told the AEV kit is great on road. I find the ST2 kit great on road and I have 12k miles on my setup. I feel the replacement LCAs are a better option than relocation brackets.

geo brackets drive better compared to longer LCA - having gone through both, I would take the geo bracket route any day. they are built to take a hit and you have a lot more low hanging parts than that bracket for you to worry about.. FWIW you will get more hits on the lower shock mount brackets in the front than the geo bracket.
