Hi Y'all,
I'm a California based Jeep Owner (1st Jeep)

I have read that having a high quality air intake system improves the Jeeps performance (which I would like to do)
I was considering the S&B Cold Air Intake for 2018-2023 Jeep Wrangler 2.0L Turbo...

Only thing is..., I found out that S&B doesn't make a filtered intake system for the Wrangler 4XE JL ( and they don't ship to California ? )

Does anyone know of a similar filter system to the S&B that is compatible with the 4xe ?

The "improved performance" on an air intake is snake oil. If there is any improvement it's usually adding a small HP gain at WOT with a much larger loss of torque at normal driving RPM. Look for a dyno chart and you will see what I mean. If changing an air intake would improve performance the manufacturers would do it (or offer one in their performance catalog).

To get any sort of useful gain requires a full intake, exhaust, and tune at the minimum and that will cost way too much for very little gain on a modern engine IMO.

And stay away from the air filters that you need to oil. They are designed for heavy dust and racing conditions, not daily driving use. They function by having a large open gauze-type element that doesn't filter great when clean, but retains airflow rates when dirty. Plus, a lot of people over oil them and damage the airflow sensors in their vehicles by coating them in oil.

YMMV, but I would spend my money elsewhere.

The S&B DOES work with the 4xe, I have one on my '21. I also have the hood scoop that acts as a "ram air" intake.

I'm also in California, but found it locally on CL. I know there are sites out there that you have to click a box that says you will only use the vehicle for "off road", and they will ship to California.

You're superheating it with the turbo anyway. Unless you are going to tune it there is little reason to open up the intake.
