That's 2H with traction control OFF for me.

But then again I enjoy driving. I don't view it as a task.

SCIENCE!
In fairness, I could see this mixing with a little rain and making for conditions that might possibly warrant 4H... Possibly... If you're in a REALLY big rush...

<sigh> I tried. This is obviously 2H territory. If you're slipping, then you're clearly going way too fast.

can you show me where it says max 50mph in the manual, because all my other 8 jeeps says it's safe to engage 4hi at any legal highway speed.
i'm just curious if the JL is any different.

I used 2H...it was fine.
Own 2 Wranglers before. Live in Chicago. We had a lot of snow a few years back. It can take a while for our side streets get plowed. I used 2H 95% of the time. The only time I even had to use 4-anything was when I was buried after the plows throw snow and bury the cars. The weight of the Wrangler and AT tires was more then enough.

4h so all 4 wheels slip equally! seriously though, 2h. The loss of lateral traction (turning) is not helped by all 4 wheels spinning equally. same goes for braking. How the resistance is applied is moot.
