No one is giving anyone 7500 dollars. Especially Jeep.
When you lease a 4xe, Jeep receives $7500 from the federal government. They can choose whether to keep that, or to give you part/all of it (for example BMW used to not pass any onto the customer; now it does at least on some models). Jeep chooses to give you all of it.

I mean, it can't get any simpler than that; Jeep is giving you $7500 when you lease a 4xe.

This has nothing to do with cars and everything to do with inflation.

Also, clickbait nonsense.
Companies also discovered that people are willing to pay higher prices regardless of what the reason is, so they've kept them high even if costs have come back down a little bit.

Jeep is not giving you 7500 dollars. Read what I wrote. I know there is a tax incentive rebate it is not coming out of Jeep bank account out of the kindness of their hearts are to sell cars.
I’m not sure what kind of semantic goofiness you’re playing, but Chrysler capital passes along a $7500 tax credit to the consumer. Many other companies (such as Tesla) do not pass this along and keep it themselves.

Plus the increase in price on the 4xe more than kills any rebate. Not worth over 70k dollars in any world I live in.
I haven’t run the numbers lately, but when I got my 2021 Rubicon 4xe, the 4xe was much cheaper when comparing apples to apples than a full gas Rubicon, after the tax credit, and it’s the most powerful one aside from the much more $$$ 392. If you don’t want it, fine, but it’s a pretty good deal.

2021 was a long time ago. And yes the Gas are over priced also.

So it is Chrysler Capital now? Or jeep? Its a tax rebate at least we are getting closer now.

Chrysler Capital is the financing arm of Jeep/Dodge/Chrysler. Whether you're leasing a Wrangler, Durango, or Pacifica you're going to lease through Chrysler Capital.

You were wrong. And quoted me I didn't quote you. Not bickering, Jeep doesn't give you jackshit.

Exactly. It a Tax Rebate so if we get to the base of it is Government paying 7500 dollars.
I know this is a forum so you're seemingly required to keep digging in your heels, but multiple people have already explained this. The government gives the carmaker the $7500; and the carmaker has a choice of whether to pass that onto the consumer. Jeep chooses to pass onto the consumer. It is coming from Jeep.

The federal government gives Jeep/Chrysler Capital (to the consumer it’s the same goddamn thing) a $7500 credit.

Jeep/CC can decide whether to keep that, or pass it to the consumer. They pass it along to the consumer.

You’re playing semantic word games that mean nothing; point is, lease a 4xe and get $7500 off that you don’t get on a gasser.

So do all the other leasing companies.
