39's lol but I have RCV/Truss/Gusset/DyntaTrack Ball Joints and ARB Cover in the front and a Dana 60 from Fusion 4x4 in the rear.
I have the exact setup and it's great. The hybrid 60 from fusion is BEEFY

I have 38s right now but I plan on getting 40s in the next day or so. May go with the 40x13.50r17 Maxxis rzr.

Current build
- Front Dana 44 with ball joint deletes, reid knuckles, rcv shafts, truss from Artec
- Rear axle is from Fusion Axles. Its a Hybrid 60 that allows me to run the 5x5 wheels, but the strenth of a ton. Beefy axle
- 17in KMC Grenade wheels with 3.5 backspace
- Metal Cloak adjustable control arms
- 4.5in Front Springs and 3.5in Rear Springs from Clayton Offroad
- Pulled the 3.6 e-torque and did a 392 Hemi swap.

The ultra rare JLR on 40's looks great. Must crawl like a JLUR on 43's.
My JLR made it a year on 37's before I went to 38's, now I want tons and 40's.
I've been told 40 is the absolute limit for JLR unless you stretch them (only $35K and two year wait), but your rig looks like it would be fine on 42's.

That sounds right to me. My stretched JK is on 43's and it's a bit much. We'll probably go back down to 40's at some point.

idk I can't imagine going any bigger without stretching and getting rid of my fenders entirely. With the MC 4.5" springs I'm still having to run 4" of bump stop. Down travel is insane with my new 6Pak shocks though just need to do some more testing as I think I'm in danger of ripping out every single line / cable

Have you trimmed the rear pinch seams to maximize uptravel?

Yep with 3” I was still getting a lot of rubbing on my inner fender, up front I rubbed quite a bit with 3” too but I think that’s just because I’m running the metalcloak fenders. Had i ran something more narrow like nemesis or genright fenders it would probably be fine at 3”
