Hey folks, couple questions regarding tires.

Recently picked up a 392 XR and was also given a 1983 CJ 7.

I was wondering if I could put my 35’s on my CJ-7 and perhaps upgrade my 392 to 37’s without having to make any crazy changes to the 392. Seem some threads stating perhaps KO2s would fit.

many suggestions, thoughts or sites that might be helpful for reference?

Google "37s XR JLWranglerforum" and you will find lots of threads on the subject.

Changes would be to the CJ— wheels? My CJ5 required large center holes for the manual hubs (15 x 10’s), but 17’s? Also required a 3” lift to clear 33-12.50’s ,35’s?, more lift could require longer driveshafts, steering? It’s done, but you have homework to do, and the CJ might get expensive. Hope it works out.?
