392 Aux switch harnesses

Well, since the Aux wires are missing it seems.... and since your dealer has dropped the ball in getting this issue taken care of .... it is time to contact FCA and have a case opened.. The Rep, will then get in contact with your dealer or have you go to another dealer...

Call Dedicated Jeep Customer Care: Ph. 1-866-362-2146 .

Don't bother to deal with JeepCares reps that work the internet forums.... Just call the number I have given. Be polite, tell the rep what is going on and that the dealer seems clueless.... not addressing your concerns / needs.

You will find contacting FCA and having a case opened will get things going... you'll get the Aux you want and for sure do not want to pass by on.

Hmm just popped the hood and I don’t see any in the engine bay either.

Update. Dealer says that FCA rep said that the 2021 Wranglers don't come with the harness, just circuits in the PDC. This is to prevent people from adding non-Jeep aftermarket components. I said that other owners have reported having the harnesses, and that's a bunch of BS if it's true as just about everyone adds aftermarket components to their Jeeps. I filed a case with FCA and the dealer has also asked another source for more info.

Both should be easily distinguishable as the ends are bundled with electrical tape, not cloth fabric.

Are you able to follow either harness and get a part number for it? My dealer said they will all have a tag and if there is a part number he can order it.

This makes no sense at all. Dumb if it's true, but I'd suspect the dealer/rep is grossly misinformed or just making excuses.

Looks like the harness part number is on the end behind the switch bank. From a sellers' pic, it looks like it's 68321507AC. I don't see it available for sale individually anywhere though, just as the entire switch bank kit.

I was able to easily locate 4 aux wires in engine bay however the one in passenger footwell area is giving me trouble. I have only ONE wire. Green with white stripe.

And that green wire has no power whatsoever. Not AUX 1234, not battery, and not ignition either ….

I came to this thread to find my seemingly non-existent underhood aux harness.

FOUND IT! It's very deep (lower than the battery tray), folded over several times and wrapped w/electrical tape. You can see it in the middle of this pic...

Here you go,

Had to use a hanger to pull it up enough to cut the first loop of tape w/scissors. You need to dig and surgically cut tape to get to the point where you can hold it in your hand.

It's on the left side of the passenger footwell... look for the electrical tape holding it up.

Mine was hidden/attached to a harness running from the kick panel to center of dash on the inside. I had to pull my battery to find the under the hood one. Jeeo hides them well

That is incorrect. I have the 2021 and I easily found mine under the hood and in the pax footwell.

I have a 2021 and my harnesses are there and found easily as well.

I also had the same problem of not able to locate auxiliary switch wire in the engine bay. Once you are able to locate it seems so obvious. It next to battery bundled below other cables.
