So my goal was when my tires on the jeep needed replaced, I would lift and 35s/315s.

So.. my local Jeep show is backed up and cant get to the lift for a bit. Could I put new 315s (falken ATs) on my new wheels and run stock suspension for a bit. Not a ton of miles, as i work from home and just take the kids to school and stuff.

1- I don't think they fit, but most importantly, they wouldn't look at home.
2- You'd hate your Jeep unless a regear from 3.45 to 4.56 is also in the plans.

I have found that for Sahara height and stock gearing, Rubi take-offs in the form of 285/70r17 looked great. If you stay with 18 inch wheels, agressive looking 275/65r18 are the same circumference as stock, but a good inch wider.

As someone else astutely pointed out, I’d be more worried about the jeep feeling weighted down and driving poorly with the sub 4.10 gearing.

depends on the offset. with the short width axles on the sports and saharas its most likely the tires will rub on the frame, control arm and swaybar end links. ( even after i lifted my jeep with the factory sport axles the wheel weights where tagging the end link of the sway bar. I cant remember the factory wheel offset but i know i have a nice offset with my method wheels. and i also went with the rubicon axle swap. all at one time.

I have 275-65-18 Toyo AT3 on my Sahara now (6sp). As others stated I'd avoid much bigger without regear, but you're most likely an auto so the 8sp will help. I'm going to try General Grabber ATx in size 275-70-18 next, a true 33 at 33.3"...

I've got a friend with a 2018 Sahara with a 6 speed manual and the stock gearing. He switched to 295's and seldom ever can use 6th gear. Even two lane driving on state highways at around 60 mph he finds himself going down to 4th gear. The 3.45 axle ratio wasn't meant to run the bigger tires. Personally on my Rubicon I went from a 6 speed/4.10/315's on the 2012 to a 8 speed/4.56/315's on the 2022; wow what a difference and the 8 speed actually lets the Jeep run about 400 rpm's less at 70 mph on the highway.

On my 07 JK, 3" lift, I upgraded from 285's to 315's and didn't regear. It handled the bigger tires with no problem. My 19 JLU I haven't lifted and have 285's on it, but thinking when we change these tires out if I went bigger I would have to lift it before putting them on so to lessen the rubbing.

I have a '20 Sahara 2.0T still stock suspension, but upgraded wheels tires to 315/70R17 (17x8.5 00 offset). I have no problem with on-road driving. I intend to install a lift in the future, but staying on-road, there is plenty of room. Not the best picture, but no rub full turn, and have some articulation room, just would recommend against much for off-roading.
