How are the sound effects with the AFE air box, any difference?

Is there anything protecting the lower edge of the license plate? Or, could you rip it off on a rock?

There is a small piece of the licenses plate that could catch something, but it would probably only bend it. It mounts directly to the bumper which is steel...probably would hit my wheel if I did. I also wheel with a stinger that usually prevents contacting the tire and most of the bumper usually. A rock could probably snag it, but it would only damage the license plate.

Installed the Brawlee light Bar today on the diesel today. I did it only to use the 12v plug when I need it. I made a custom holder for the plug so it is faster to plug in. I may run a switch at some point but for my needs this will be great.

The holder is a leftover rubber bumper for the spare tire from my tailgate reenforcement. It fit the cargo rack hole perfectly. I then installed a PVC pipe connector and cut a notch so the 12V plug snaps in.

I ran the wires thru the plastic track and made a small notch for the wire to enter the track. I then ran the resining wire thru the existing wire loom and followed the wires out thru the disconnect for the hard top. Made for a very clean install. The remote transmitter fit in that housing also.

Here is the plug cleanly coming out of the disconnect housing. I zip tied my cable due to I most likely with not take the top off, if I do then a quick zip tie cut and it can be disconnected.

I spent about $25 and made my own water proof LEDs with remote to turn on/off and dim. It isn't as pretty as yours but it works great!

Already have them on order! Posted the pics on AEV's FB Page and they deleted them...guess they don't want anyone to see I have them installed!
That’s odd...maybe they don’t want you telling folks that you got the first set through a dealer rather than the lottery lol. On a different note, I’m tempted to paint the logos on the corners red like we did to the Borah center caps...that is when they’re off the boat next week.

Installed the AEV rear bumper and today I installed the Flares and Splash Guard. Looks pretty good! Love the design of the bumpers and the Flares and Splash guards.

I like that they put license plate back to where it should be.

I think you might be right about not wanting anyone to know I got the bumpers outstide of the lotery...but they went to a dealer to sell so not sure what they are gaining...seems shady to me. The rep I was dealing with asked me to even tag him and post it when I get it on. LMAO!
I thought the same thing...not sure if it will adhere since it is on plastic...thought about using a fine sand paper to scuff it up to help it stick.

Beautiful...just way too expensive
I have seen so many bumpers that don't protect the body...I didn't get the steel bumpers because I knew I was going to get the AEV Bumpers when they became available. The way they are built I am extremely confident I will NEVER damage the rear corners because of some cheap flimsy bumper. These are built extremely well. They cost for body repair that is being avoided makes it worth it. I go wheeling a lot and I have already damaged the stock bumper...so in the long run I won't damage my Jeep.

For me it was well worth it, but I have a ton of money in my jeep. Not to mention it looks great. The bumper is only $1,100. I opted for the tire carrier also. But $1,100 really isn't that bad when you look at what others offer. There just isn't a lot of options for tire carriers that are high quality and well built for the JL.
