I've replaced my cabin filters (the ones behind the glove box). It's weird that the parts listing at the parts department calls for 2 filters, which is what I found when I pulled the old ones but the dealership tried to give me one filter that is actually exactly the same size as the two filters combined. When I told another parts guy about it he found it odd and spent time on their parts computer. Here's his take.

The two filters are for 3.0 only with the single filter for the gassers. Yet when he looked up the numbers for the plastic housing holding the filters the part is the same for the gassers and the 3.0.

What have you guys run into? I ask because the single filter cost less than one of the double filters thus you pay well over double the price if you install the doubles vs. the single.

Either will work just fine
My OEM was a 1 piece, when replacing, the 2 pieces were the only available at the time
This is possible due to parts/supply issues. As long as either fits, have confidence both will work fine. Ive used both types
Here's another link that I'm currently using in my 2022 JLURD

Best wishes 👍

It's difficult to get the one filter in and out. Easier as 2 pieces
