Got an email today from Jeep confirming my order. Surprised how quick that was.
I ordered my Rubicon on 5/12 got the VON same day, VIN on Friday 5/13 and welcome email from Jeep on Monday 5/16. Do you think it’s too soon to start harassing Jeep Chat?? ??‍♀ I’m kidding…..sort of…..??

I ordered my Rubicon 4xe on 4/30, got the VIN on 5/3, but they are telling me it's still in the scheduling phase. Getting a little nervous seeing some of these posts where orders were placed last year...

Reading through all of these comments. If the 23MY order guides are about to drop then I wonder if it really means much that Jeep is curtailing order submissions on certain models and options. Isn't the most logical explanation here is that Jeep is simply winding down 22MY builds so that they can focus on converting to 23MY?

It would make sense. Personally, I would rather have them switch my order to a 23 at this point.

I ordered my Rubicon 4XE on 3/16, got the VIN fast as well as the welcome email fast. I checked about 8 days ago and they said it was in the schedule phase and close to being built, to check back in a week for more info. I'll try them tomorrow! My dealer told me they have been telling customers 3 to 4 months on the 4XEs.

I'm waiting to order a 2027 in 2 months.

Seriously though....what's up with the model years and new vehicles? I ordered a 22 on the week they started manufacturing them in December. Now it's 6 months later and we're already talking about 23s? I thought the new MY ordering usually started in Oct/Nov.

Model year usually starts in August, that's why you used to see all the year-end deals at the end of Summer. The 2022s roll-out was delayed and didn't ship until Dec. Jeep is returning to the normal roll-out schedule with '23s.

On order: 2022 Rubicon XR Hydro Blue
I ordered November 9th. Was finally built last week. Now I’m in shipping Purgatory. Hydro blue rubicon XR package, SOT, lots of options. Yes 7 months and counting….

BUT if they announce changes for 2023 soon that I like, I’ll let it go. I don’t NEED the Jeep now and there are some options that I would love to see come to the Wrangler.

Sadly, it wasn’t going to get built this model year anyway. The Rubicon I ordered in January has just today gotten a build sheet. I’m sure the backlog of existing orders will take until the 2023 start date to clear.
That's not true at all. I see people that are built that submitted after me on 4/8. You're just unlucky to be built later lol.

Probably the New grill, uconnect 5. Engine choice will be in interesting. I would go w/ diesel if you didnt have to put detergent next to the gas. Its like that feeling of running out of fabric softner.

The rubicon I ordered in March is already in transit.

Well, let’s think about this. That’s two months. 2023 orders begin on June 15, less than one month away.

And there are many, many reports of slower builds than yours. Mine is 4 months + and still not shipped.

I don’t understand why some believe they can still expect to order and receive ’22’s now. All the recent constraints on orders are clear signals from Jeep they are backlogged and this model year is basically done.
