So is it up to me when I want the oil changed then? (For my free Jeep oil change and rotation). There's really no oil life indicator on the wrangler? Also, is there a tie pressure sensor on the spare, and how does that work when your rotate it into service?
The Jeep doesn't have an oil life indicator?. I assumed you had to hit whatever the computer's requirement was before they'd perform the free oil change.
The absolute best that I've ever used is the Cerakote kit. Use gloves and make sure your plastic is completely clean and dry...and it will restore it like magic and last a LONG time!
I bought a blemished MP Concepts rear bumper, figuring no big deal, I'm going to paint it anyway...then found out the end caps that blend into the fenders are plastic. Are they plastic on the OEM steel bumper as well? Is there a reason not to leave them off altogether (looking stupid, bad fuel...
What is your motivation for getting the premium top? I have other cars with "premium" (made of cloth material) soft tops, and I think I prefer the regular soft top on my Willys. There are no issues that I can detect with noise, and I think the vinyl material will age better than the cloth while...
Wow! I ended up w/ the etorque, and so far, no problems. I actually like it and don't mind the stop/start which is a complete surprise. It's much smoother than the 3.6 in my JK was.
I read about all of the problems with the non-etorque ESS and felt that the etorque was the lesser of two evils...
You can configure the 3.6 with auto, but you have to select the etorque.
With a manual? As far as I know, you haven't been able to get an auto 3.6 without etorque for a couple of model years.
I've got about 1700 miles on the eTorque in my Willys, and am loving it so far. I thought I'd hate stop/start but am realizing how much and for how long I sit at stop lights and drive through windows. The tech is a welcome addition to my city driving with the current increased gas prices.

It's definitely there unless they added it recently (and isn't on 2020s). When enabled it shows a small # to the right of "D" to indicate what gear it's in.
