I thought they "fixed" the steering for MY 2026?

My 2026 is definitely more steady than my 2024 was.
Yours and mine. 2026 Rubicon X steering is excellent for a SFA vehicle. Mine with the Mopar front LCA is better than the HD F-Series I have driven. (and I have been a big critic of Jeep's JL steering in the past).

Now, I think some of it is the fact that I have the HD front axle (less flex), iron knuckles with ball joints that don't click all the time. But there are clearly more refinements on the steering box/SW, as well.

Solved my steering problem with installing all steersmarts steering parts and adjustable Lca’s and went back to mopar power steering pump so no electric steering assist along with the new steel steering box. Drives great. 😎

I've only seen one person that can fall asleep anywhere, anytime in the blink of an eye that wasn't military. It seems to be a standard issue skill when you serve.
Plus the WRX
Oh I’ve had that skill down since before the military. In high school I would fall asleep in government and the teacher would make me go stand in the back of class. I’d still fall asleep standing up kinda leaning on the wall. But yeah it’s kinda is a standard skill. I’ve gone to sleep in the most nasty fucked up places….. like that WRX LOL…. Worst damn car ever

The steering is why I came back to daily driving a Wrangler. Had a Wrangler, no problems. Started driving a Lexus, fell asleep at the wheel twice. Got a new Wrangler, no problems.

Yeah, my 2 door on 37's has made me such a good driver, even 18 wheelers are amazed at my defensive driving skills and go around me 😃👍

I've been wheeling with older Jeeps lots. On washboard roads the rest of the group periodically has to stop to wait for them to catch up. It's brutal for them.

Then again, if there are IFS-based vehicles in the group then they're doing the same thing waiting for us. That's a trade-off that I'm willing to take.
And then IFS trucks will have to wait for the Subarus.

Tired again

Make it two. I was an OTR truck driver, and quickly developed this skill. My best one was curling up on top of two 55 gallon drums that were next to each other while I was waiting to get loaded. Woke up with a sore back and the imprint of a bung hole cap on my cheek (go easy on me people! ;)) but got in a two-hour nap in 10-minute increments! Semper Dormiens!

Beef up the front seat frames so big boys don't make the frames squeek & creak. Improve front end parts so a stock version doesn't need to be touched until after 100k.

Go back to offering the Sahara trim in a 2-door. Add the SOT option for a 2-door in all trims. PROVIDE A CD PLAYER OPTION!

After driving 2-door's for 35 years, I hate the 4-door. Feels like a boat, and I'm not a fan of the look. But due to my bad back and knees, I need a SOT now, so I'm stuck with a 4-door. 🙄

Just to add, I have a MY '21 Sahara with a steel box, and my steering consistently wanders to the right. So irritating.
