Naw that consent hating bastard has been back for a while hiding away.@Jeepjunkie is this you? Did you return? Fishing for likes?
All of these are just nice to have things, other than steering, that the aftermarket mostly covers. I've had no issues with steering on 3 JLs at this point. We have had multiple SFA Jeeps through the years and the JLs steering is the best of all of them.Hey Jeep! Here’s a wish list for the 2027 Wrangler, but sure too late for 2027 production.
- Fix the steering. This is a known complaint and a huge aftermarket offering, but solutions voids Jeeps warranty. Come on Jeep, you know this is an issue that can be easily fixed for production. Step it up for 2027. Don’t wait for the J70. Meh
- 5,000 lbs tow package on 35’s Meh buy a truck if you want to tow more, they are designed for it.
- Adjustable rear shocks Meh
- Class III Hitch Meh
- Upgrade steering Meh
- While cooled seats may not be an option, how about strong fan ventilated seats (top and bottom front seats) with perforated leather. would be nice option, but Meh
- Better insulated Sky OneTouch. Mostly for thermal. I have had zero issues with temps in my SOT and my winters in the midwest are much colder than in NC
- Digital dash Meh Meh Meh
- Factory retractable rock slider steps that are made to protect, like Rock Slide Engineering. The 2027 Bronco is getting retractable steps, but they don’t appear to be “rock sliders” from the looks of spy shots. I may be wrong. I'm not sure I can Meh this one hard enough to accurately portray the level of Meh I feel about it.
The most likely cause would be alignment. Or maybe your tires aren't the same pressure? Or a sticking caliper? Then you'd need to look at various steering / suspension components.Just to add, I have a MY '21 Sahara with a steel box, and my steering consistently wanders to the right. So irritating.

Assuming, of course, it's not merely from the crown of the road.
All nice dreams, but none of this has a chance of happening because it would require a ton of design, testing, and validation and they aren't going to put that into a model that's nearly a decade old and on its way out the door soon.Hey Jeep! Firestone- Where The Rubber Meets The RoadHi! I do need to have all of the components and suspension components you mentioned checked.
I have a great Firestone near me where I have regular maintenance performed. I bought their VERY reasonable, almost a steal, lifetime alignment deal (highly recommend!) So I have it aligned at each oil change, along with balancing and tire rotation. I also usually have it aligned with rotation and balance at least once between oil changes.
They have never mentioned worn-out components, but that doesn't mean they couldn't use a refresh with some new ones.
And there are definitely some places the crown of the road is an issue because it pulls to the right like crazy. Not my normal right pull.
Even with road crown factored in it never pulls to the left![]()
The steering is basically fine in my '25 Sport S. But 2 things will improve the twitchy-ness: (1) install the Bilstein steering damper (dampener?). Works great, easy install, only $115. (2) carefully check your toe setting; it should be between 0 and -1/8". Absolutely NO toe-out. A slight toe-in of 1/8" will greatly help the steering at highway speeds.Hey Jeep! Agreed. The dash is perfectly fine as is. No change needed. The steering was greatly improved with the 2024 refresh. I hope they leave the dash alone. I like the analog tach and speedo with the digital dash between them.

The JT has the same cooling and is rated at 7700lbs. No overheating even pulling a grade that gains ~4k feet in 20 miles towing an 8240lb load. Would temps climb doing the same in 110⁰ weather? Probably. Time your trips if towing heavy and you're good. The steering is basically fine in my '25 Sport S. You want to tow 5000 lbs?? Probably can't do it with the skinny stock radiator and 197° thermostat. You will most likely need the Mishimoto radiator and 185° thermo (from Mishimoto or RIPP.com). I have both and the difference in cooling temp is seriously good...
