morning all, its time for my first diff fluid change on my 25 rubicon x, I have the dana44 front and m220 rear. Curious what weight diff fluid people are using. looks like according to the manual it says 75w85 for front and rear but would I be better off going with the 75w140? I know youre probably rolling your eyes at another what weight oil thread but i could definitely use the help!

you can go with manufacturer spec. I recommend Amsoil or Valvoline in the squeeze packs. Make life so much easier.

@AZJLguy

Use 75/140 in both front and rear diffs...

Read here why...

Hint: Buy squeezable pouches of 75/140, not squeeze bottles/bottles.

You'll need 3 pouches on hand in order to do both front and rear diffs on your JL.

Price Alert.... For Limited Time - Amazon is selling for $56.47 for a case of 4

WOW $14.12 per bag !

or just use the Jeep spec. either will be fine. the handwringing over this stuff is tiresome.
