I give up! 😂

The only one talking about VEHICLE resale value in this thread is you. Haha 😆
You think used axles with 9 million miles would be worth anything? You do know that when the vehicle has high mileage, the parts on the vehicle do too right? Now where’s that 44% again?

It doesn't sound like it matters in your application but the bigger screen in the 24's is actually pretty nice. When using Waze I can actually see the street names on the map.

Also, the 24 has the side curtain airbags which can get in the way of some mods like sunshades and grab handles.

I have been thinking about those 2 facts as well :)

The side curtain airbags are a really nice safety feature to keep the family safe for sure, but then I'm thinking it's probably going to get replaced at some point for a full cage anyways

The bigger screen and wireless carplay etc. could be resolved by installing an aftermarket radio in the 2023 model

He did say "Both used, certified, and around the same price - $38k"
I dont think anyone will certified a 9 million miles Jeep. One of the requirements to be a certified used car is less than 60,000 miles.

If there is 9 million miles jeep for sale, i am willing to pay more for it.
Toyota once bought back a 1 million miles Tundra from a consumer for R&D.

9 million miles is guarantee a museum piece. Thats going to the moon and back 18 times.

I figured a cage was in the plans with ton axles and 42's.

I think the real question is how soon after purchase are you going to do these mods? If you plan on upgrading shortly after purchase I would say go with a sport since you are going to be replacing all the Rubicon bits without using them.

If you are going to slow roll the upgrades, then I would say base your choice on the level of off roading you plan on doing in the interim. Will you need 4:1 transfer case, electric sway bar disconnects, and front lockers?

The other difference also could be (because it isn’t mentioned) is that the Rubicon most likely has leather seats and Willys doesn’t that is also another view point but probably minor.

The irony is so strong with this post it's literally proof that you didn't actually read the OP. I mean you read it you just didn't comprehend it and the fact that you double down on it just makes it even more delicious.
