The dif shouldn't sit higher as it has the larger ring gear in the d44. It has to be all tire. The problem with just looking at metric tire calculators is just like every standard size tire varies in height, metric tires do to. You'd need the actual measurements of the ko2s vs whatever comes on a sport. I would guess jeep took real world measurements and it's not all that critical anyway.
