2024 Willys Front Grille

So just got off the phone with my contact at jeep. There is going to be a recall notice that is vin specific to swap your grill for the 24. They did indeed build the willys with the wrong grills. There is no ETA but it will be mailed, or in your jeep account as a new recall notice.

Thank you for the information. This would be great news if true. Hopefully it doesn’t take too long to get going.

I’ve seen this mentioned on some other forums. Is this a statement from corporate or just insider rumors? Going to pick up a ‘24 Willys with the ‘23 grille tomorrow. Just wonder how long they’ll take to roll out the recall swaps.

I have had my 24 Willys for almost 2 months and no new news. And corporate said there is no ETA when the "Recall" will be sent out to us and the dealership.

Hopefully soon they'll give us some information, but they've got a lot going on right now lol. I don't mind the '23 grille but I've grown to prefer the new one. I'm glad they will at least be offering the swap. It makes me less hesitant to buy one off the lot with the older style.

Update: So I bought my ‘24 Willys out of state in NY (I’m in PA), brought it home and called up the local dealership last week to see if they’d swap the grille for the new one that should’ve came with it. They submitted the part/maintenance request for the grille, only to have it sent back by Chrysler/Jeep and be told that they will not reimburse them for the part. So basically if I want the grille installed, I would have to drive back to NY, for an issue they made in factory. Seems silly to me, especially considering that there’s already talk about recall, which I could go to any dealership for. I’m hoping the NY dealership will be willing to ship me the grille and I’ll install it myself. This is all a little ridiculous, and customer service is surely lacking. I don’t want to call and act like a Karen, but I’m not above it either lol
