That's interesting the grille mesh is from a Gladiator. I installed that mesh on my 22 Willys too.

The 2024 Sport and Sport S still have the old style grill, so why would Jeep be trying to use them up by installing them on the Willys? Yet, they are out there!

The 2024 Sport 4xe should come with the new grill design.

I ordered a 2 door Sport and find it annoying that the new grill doesn’t come on the Sport or S. However, here is a pic of a Sport on a Canadian lot and they all have the new grill:

My dealer “assures” me that my Sport will have the new grill…I don’t believe him.

I'm in the same boat. Ordered a 4-door Sport S and asked the dealer about getting the new grille. He said it would come with the new grille, which I also don't believe given the Jeep website pictures. I'm hoping since Jeep said the Sport/Sport S would include the new grille for late availability models, and since I ordered the MT (which doesn't seem like it'll be built any time within the next month anyways), that I'll get lucky and have the new grille.

The original bill of material for the 2024 Willys had the old grill part no and some amount were built that way. At some point the bill of material changed to the new grill part no and from that point forward they should all have the new one. This affected only certain trim levels, I wasn't given that information.

Yup, sounds like they used up the old ones!

Did they happen to mention the date the bill of materials changed to the new grill? Mine went into production on 7/17, but was scheduled back on 6/22! Hopefully, it was prior to that!

I bought a new 2024 willys on Saturday and the grille is the same as 2018-2023 . I have noticed on facebook posts about 2024 willys for sale that they all have the same . I called jeep wave customer care about it and they want me to take it to the dealer and have them take a picture of the front and submit it . I am sure they are trying to use the old ones they have left over and hoping people don't care or notice . I like the new grille and told them I want my new 2024 style grille lol .

I wouldn't be shocked if the dealership swapped it out for one in backstock so they could sell it to someone else.

Without going to too much detail, my wife's Subaru Forester Sport came from the factory with Falken WildPeak tires. It's one of the reasons why you buy the Sport trim. However when we went to pick ours up from the dealership, it had Atturo AZ610's on there instead. Which at the time was about a $400 price difference. I pointed it out to them and they tried to tell me that all sports come from the factory like that. And that the dealership upgrades the tires. I literally went on to the Subaru build and price website and pulled up the standard features on a Forester Sport trim, and show them that it lists Falken WildPeaks as the standard tire.

I felt like, once they realized they couldn't pull one over on me, they were willing to play ball. They end up giving us a $400 discount on the price of the vehicle.

Two weekends later that dealership was having a tire sale. Were the two instances related, maybe. All I know is I saved 400 bucks on tires I was going to replace fairly quickly anyways.

I am looking for a 24 Willys and have noticed this.

I even believe the MSRP is different on these early 2024's with the 2023 grill. I say this because I am looking at the same exact spec vehicle from several dealers, and the different MSRP was confusing me.

I almost purchased one today, via phone. I was showing my daughter the Anvil and Earl colors. One dealer website had the Earl with the 2023 grill and the Anvil with a 2024 grill. Turns out the one I was purchasing was the slightly higher MSRP and it had the 2023 grill.

To me it is not so much a question of 'love / hate for the 2024 grill'. It is more that the black surround on the 2023 grill looks terrible to me.

EDIT: double checked the stickers. Pricing is the same.

Curious of what the difference between the two window stickers show? When I ordered my 2024 Willyts on 6/19, I remember an option for the Black Satin Grill. That's not showing any more, but I wonder if these Willys that have the old style grill actually were ordered with the Black Satin Grill option?
