have you thought of looking in your mirrors? Much higher resolution. The backup camera is literally a government mandated check the box item, it's not supposed to replace your own eyes/ears.AS the title says the back up camera sucks on my new jeep was wondering if there are any alternatives to upgrading to better camera on this jeep
Ordering the LED reverse lights right now. Thank you.Installing the ORACLE Lighting Flush Mount Tail Lights has made all the difference for me. The reverse portion of the lights are incredible bright and increase the visibility and clarity when using the camera or the mirrors. If you would rather just have the reverse light, ORACLE has you covered there, too, with the REar Bumper reverse lights.

Good to hear!!Ordering the LED reverse lights right now. Thank you.
Except, of course, when the object isn't visible in your mirrors.I have the Oracle flush mount tail lights. The reverse lights in them are substantially brighter than the OEM reverse lights!
That being said, mirrors have never failed me(ok, I couldn't resist).

Well, you're certainly not wrong there!!Except, of course, when the object isn't visible in your mirrors.
Yes, rock crawling at night can be a blast. We'll probably go out tonight to see the comet from the top of the mountains behind our place.
You don't lose blindside with either choice. With the Flush Mount Tail Lights you would move your BSM sensor over to the new tail light. It functions as expected. And the reverse lights for the bumper can't interfere in any way.
