Throw 35s on it and let's find out. You may be be disappointed if that's what really matters to you.

Can you imagine we meet up and my Bronco beats your 4xe on 35s? You'll be so disappointed You'll end up selling your rig. ?
Ford only rates the 2.7L at 433ftlbs with the performance tune, which is $825. 40ftlbs isn't earth shattering in and of itself, but that electric motor is kicking in full torque at idle. The 2.7L doesn't hit peak torque until 3500rpm. The Bronco 2dr is rated at 6.1s 0-60. The 1k lb heavier 4xe is rated at 5.5s 0-60. Even with 35s, my money is on the 4xe in that race.

Why should I handicap my rig further? I like the way it runs on 33s. How about a 240lb RTT on top?

Why don't you get a tune and try again?

2 door Bronco Wildtrak tuned was hitting 5.3 0 to 60. My Basequatch 2.7 is the same Bronco.

37s and I'm still running 7s and that's with 3.73s in the Sahara. Meanwhile broncos running 9s on the bronco forums. higher horse power and torque off set a couple hundred pounds really easily, especially with the better torque curve. The only thing keeping it mildly competitive is the squatch has waaaay lower gearing, but the new 4.56 in the 4xe gonna have it running damn close to 4s

Huh. A modded bronco against a stock, overweight 4xe.

You Bronco guys need all the help you can get.

Please let me know which dragstrip you'll be attending.
Modded because of a tire swap. ?
Well at least my rig doesn't need a whole extra electric engine to make it quick.

Either way the fact that we're debating 0-60 times on 5k pound off road vehicles just shows how advanced they have become. 5.5 to 6 seconds. Most muscle cars back in the day couldn't get that!

Less powerful? Yeah I think not. My 2.7 has 330hp and 415tq. Plus it's lighter then the 4xe. Power to weight ratio comes into play. So the little bit more power you have is a wash. Not to mention Ford actually sells a performance factory tune that gives it much more power and is covered under warranty. Oh and my power is constant. Doesn't go away once the battery Viagra wears off. Once your little battery dies which happens pretty quick from what I've read you lose your power. Your back down to just 2.0 power which is 270hp and 290tq.

As far as fuel efficiency goes to be fair I haven't been driving my Bronco in eco mode. I probably should have tried it before complaining about mpg. Most Bronco Sasquatch owners have posted getting about 22mpg in eco mode. And that's with 35 inch tires. Put 35s on your 4xe and let's see what it gets.

Also the biggest difference of all is the handling. I own both a Jeep Xtreme Recon and Bronco Sasquatch and in the handing department it's not even close. My Bronco drives like a sports car compared to my Jeep. It's literally night and day. The steering is tight, tracks straight and is super responsive. It doesn't wander all over the place like a tractor. And you feel no bumps in the road. Super smooth ride.

Getting to the interior. Much more modern all around and way more comfortable. The seats in the Bronco are the most comfortable seats out of any vehicle I've ever owned. Hands down. I can drive for hours and be totally fine and my back doesn't hurt. My Jeeps seats are the absolute worst seats I've ever experienced in an automobile. 30 minutes in and my back is killing me. To be fair I do have a bad back. But still. Big difference in comfortability.

I also like the electronics and set up in the Bronco better. Everything is one touch. You have 2 high, 4 high, 4 low, 4 auto and GOAT modes all in one dial. Your not fighting with a sticky shifter. And the latest Android auto and carplay that's built in wireless. Along with a host of other things.

I was just at my Jeep dealership yesterday and they have a 2023 4xe Rubicon in Earl for msrp $70k. What the hell??? $70k for what? That's absolutely insane. Especially when you consider if you live in a cold area you're not getting no 21 miles on full electric. And offroading in full electric you get like 5 miles or so. And I always thought the 4xe gets 49mpg combined electric and gas in hybrid mode but apparently that's not the case at all it's more like 24 to 26 mpg. WTF? I'm sorry but that is not worth that price.

I can go on and on.

Since you were "interested"
I rented a Bronco for 4 days in Scottsdale last fall. Felt like driving any cookie cutter SUV. We decided to replace our JLU with JLU 4xe. 34mpg and climbing as we learn how to best use the PHEV.

If you want an insulated and sterile experience the Bronco looks nice and is very capable.

It's a shame Wrangler doesn't offer multiple trims and powertrains so each can choose which suits their needs best...

I don't know what Bronco you rented but my 2 door 2.7 Sasquatch definitely doesn't feel like a cookie cutter SUV at all. To each there own I guess.

I assumed you'd have an aftermarket tune and hardware. It's the only chance you have at keeping it close.

Stock? Not. A. Chance.

The "world's fastest bronco" over on 6g, with tons of parts and JB4 was only able to MATCH a stock 4xe Sahara in the 1/4.

Yes, I say so.
Sounds like you should have bought a Hellcat instead of a Jeep. You might be happier.

I had a new 2.7 Bronco driver try to stoplight grand prix me three times this past weekend and all he saw each time was a pair of 4xe Rubi tail lights pulling away with authority. This, even after he jumped the light on the third attempt. It was only 0-50mph (speed limit). He went in to the same Home Depot as me and asked what chip I was running. LMAO.
