So, I need Forum expertise. I got a 0D6 code today, does any one know what that means?

Hold out for a manual -- being fun to drive is an important "feature!"
That is why they have 392s....

Even when they aren't catching on fire, I couldn't find too many people that like the way the MT is set up.

And 4 of our 6 vehicles ARE MT, so I really wanted that to work out.

Sometimes I'll be binging Jeep content on YouTube, and I'll think, "Maybe when I have gained enough knowledge, some greater Force will allow my Jeep to be built..." ?

With any luck, I hope to leave the venting thread this weekend. My July order sounds like it hit the local rail yard 2 days ago. Hopefully will get to the dealer soon (and hopefully the upcoming winter storm doesn’t slow things down). If that holds true, it’ll be a bit over 230 days since order… that’s almost like the “8 to 12 weeks” they quoted, right?

Fingers crossed for you! I'm hitting 90 days this week and still not scheduled, so I'll be in the same boat.
Be sure to post pix when it arrives.

Happened to most of us around here... hang in there.
Yeah, I figure I'm in good company.

Silver lining - when I initially ordered the Tow Package wasn't an available option for the 392. It came back, but I went to D1 before it could be added. Hopefully with the regress to D, it gets added this time. The dealership has requested the change to Stellantis, so we'll see what happens! Fingers crossed.

I'm kicking around canceling my order.
I've next to no confidence the manual transmission fix will actually address the issue.

I hate the idea of paying for a transmission (auto) that I won't enjoy.

I tried the builder - 4K for a transmission that doesn't blow up.
lol... yeah... no.

@MadGerbil I'm in the exact same boat. I ordered 12/30....D1 on 1/27 and now this. The Jeep tracker shows no manuals moving to production since 2/16. I contacted my dealer and they were happy to place an order for the same build with an automatic for $4,000 more! The kicker is the 3.6 is only sold with the ETorque system when ordering the automatic. Now I'm really torn....do I hold out to see what the MT fix is, or cancel the order and pay an extra $4k for a setup that I really don't want....and start the waiting game all over?

If it weren't for the risk of exploding transmissions and fire Hazzard, I could justify saving the $4k for a Centerforce clutch when the stock one inevitably fails.....but I'm not sure it's a chance I'm willing to take.

So...my dealer offered to place the order for an automatic without canceling the original MT! Now I get to see what happens with the recall, and hold a place in line with a plan B!
