Curious about this as well. Just ordered some 37's and never considered Mass inspection until it was too late. Did you end up running them? Any issues?
I got a message stating 4/24 was the estimated date of production. Order Placed
I got a message from Stellantis stating Estimated build date was week of 4/24. Order was placed 12/30 and D1 on 1/27
We'll see 🤷

I have a 76 CJ7 and I have put the doors on only about half a dozen times in the past 15 years. Of course it's not a daily driver, so there are many practical reasons why someone would keep their doors on. I get it but there is nothing like a fully naked jeep ride! That's where it's at.
Highly doubtful. I suspect the transmission is computer controlled and a failure would affect both auto and the simulated manual functions. But, I'm no expert. Someone in the forum probably has enough knowledge to provide an accurate response.
Update: Sellantis did open up a special tracking case for my MT order. They stated my Jeep "has an estimated production plan timing projected to take place the week of 04-24-23. Please keep in mind, this timing is estimated and could be subject to change."
I tried to squeeze some more...
Not yet. I was pressing hard for any clue, so the rep said he would escalate it. He seemed to indicate that a case was being opened with a "specialist" due to the amount of time that I 've been in D1 being "longer than usual for this milestone.
If I hear anything I will update this post.
May have been obvious at this point, but there was some initial speculation about them being built then sent to the dealership for the recall work.
I still expect to wait, but it's better than getting in line behind the other 60k recalls at the service dept.
Well...yes, I placed an MT order on 12/30. Then I started to get cold feet when this recall hit, so my dealer put in a second order for the same build with an automatic.
Still hoping they come up with a proper fix for this clutch issue because I really prefer the manual. But nice to have a...
I got the same update and went down the Google rabbit hole. The only info I could find was "direct shift gearbox" which ( from what I could gather) is an automatic transmission with dual clutches in place of a torque converter. They usually have the option to manually shift gears up and down...
@MadGerbil I'm in the exact same boat. I ordered 12/30....D1 on 1/27 and now this. The Jeep tracker shows no manuals moving to production since 2/16. I contacted my dealer and they were happy to place an order for the same build with an automatic for $4,000 more! The kicker is the 3.6 is only...
I tried Jeep chat and my dealer, and no info was available. With the stop sale in place and no official word expected until April it could be a long wait before we see our builds.
I noticed this as well. Tried Jeep chat to see if they could confirm whether the recall is causing delay production of MT units....got a canned response. I have my dealer contacting her rep. to see if they have any insight.
I placed an order for a JLUR 6MT on 12/30, and I've been stuck at D1 since 1/27.....I've seen many orders on this forum progress faster than mine, so this makes me wonder if my build is hung up as a result of this.
