Here's your space to grumble, grouse, bitch and vent to your heart's content about the wait for your new Jeep without judgement and without having to read the childlike giddiness of everyone who has seen the pizza tracker light up for them like a slot machine on a tear at the casino... This thread is for the bitter and jaded only. Deference and respect will be given here to those who have been waiting the longest and whose order has moved the least. This is the land of the lost... the island of misfit toys... the... the... other place people go when they feel abandoned whose name I can't think of at the moment. Toledo apparently???

I'll start us off:

Bless me, Stellantis, for I have sinned, it has been 71 days since my order was confirmed and still no D1 in sight... In that time I have blasphemed and taken the Jeep's name in vain. I've had unclean thoughts about canceling my order and sliding into something cheap and easy off the lot. I've looked at Bronco videos on the internet and driven slowly past a dealership full of Subarus. I've considered hunting down people who ordered after me and are already driving their Jeeps and... begging them to let me smell their interior.

Seriously, though, today is 71 days waiting for the Jeep in my sig line with the only movement being a VIN I received only because I asked the dealer (and, yes, I stop in here each day to update that number and will continue to until I hit D1). Still nothing from Jeep other than "Order Confirmed". I tell myself I'll feel better when I see D1 because at least I can assume then that they intend to build my Jeep at some point. But the reality is that if/when it does move to D1, from the times posted around here we're looking at at least another month to get built followed by delivery time on top of that. At this point, though, I'll happily take it in lieu of where I am now, Waiting for Godot with nothing but the absurd hope he'll come tomorrow.

So, who's been waiting longer? Step in and get the commiseration and condolences you deserve.

I'll start us off:

Bless me, Stellantis, for I have sinned, it has been 57 days since my order was confirmed and still no D1 in sight... In that time I have blasphemed and taken the Jeep's name in vain. I have had unclean thoughts about canceling my order and slipping into something cheap and easy off the lot. I've considered hunting down people who ordered their Jeep and saw it go into production all in the same month and... begging them to let me smell their interior. I've... looked at Bronco videos on the internet...

Seriously, though, today is 57 days waiting for the Jeep in my sig line with the only movement being a VIN I received only because I asked the dealer. Still nothing from Jeep other than "Order Confirmed". I'm planning to check in with them again next week in the hopes that there's been some movement but if there isn't it'll be two months of nothing by then. I tell myself I'll feel better when I see D1 because at least I can assume then that they intend to build my Jeep at some point. But the reality is that if/when it does move to D1, from the times posted around here we're looking at at least another month to get built followed by delivery time on top of that. And if the rail strike becomes a thing I have no idea what kind of timeline any of us might be looking at. At this point, though, I'll happily take it in lieu of where I am now, Waiting for Godot with nothing but the absurd hope he'll come tomorrow.

Thank you for this forum! Lol a place we can complain and not be ridiculed. Some people are crazy!
So to complain I go! I want me here darn it!!! Ok letā€™s wait 4 weeks and see if we get some movement. Iā€™m hoping by November we will be seeing out delivery dates! We gotta hold on man we got to! This is my dream car!!! Iā€™ve never been able to pick a car I want let alone have a NEW car. I canā€™t give up now.

Me too. This is my first time ordering something with everything I wanted rather than settling for what was available that day on the lot. In my head I keep pushing out the timeline. When I first ordered I really thought/hoped it would be here in October but with each day that passes it looks more like November. Though, with global warming maybe that means I'll still be able to run it for a while with the top down??? Meanwhile, I'm waiting for some of those April/May/June folks to show up here. They should have a some major-league complaining to do... :)

Lol. I know that dealer order banks opened up back in June, but the 23s have only been in production for 3 weeks (Aug 19, iirc).

I'm as impatient as the next guy, but think it's still a bit too soon to be getting too upset (I'm already scheduled, so I do sympathize w/OP). But if venting a little steam makes you feel better, then go for it.. just remember it's still early with a potential railroad strike coming up real soon.

I'm reserving this spot until probably 30ish days of no update/movement in the tracker from D1.

About to hit 21 days since my order was scheduled. I'm gonna give it until that 9/16 to 9/19 window that seems to be the magical next batch date for production.

I dunno. Sometimes I think the misinformation is just as bad as the online trackers šŸ˜†

Still waiting to hear back from my dealer since Wednesday...I think I may have jinxed myself with all the praise I gave them in another post šŸ¤Ŗ

Too true. Hang out here enough and it's amazing how one person's pure speculation turns into somebody else's "I've heard..." or "They say..."

šŸ‘‹šŸ½. I haven't been waiting as long as some, but I'm expecting my wait to be somewhere in the 6 month range (šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦ order here). It's been 39 days. As impatient as I am, I keep trying to remind myself that more time = bigger down deposit. It's especially difficult because I ordered Earl and really wanna see it in person.....

Also my dealer told me to stop bugging him, and he'll be in touch when there's news. šŸ˜–šŸ˜–

I used to think that. Now, every time I drive the trade-in to work I get paranoid that someone is going to hit it and I'm going to lose it's value...

Lol, I'm not even gonna bother trying to trade in my current vehicle, cause even if it was in mint condition, if be lucky to get $500 for itšŸ¤£šŸ¤£. As it is in its non mint condition, I'd be lucky to get $150 šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ™ˆšŸ™ˆ

Us 2-door guys (who are the most likely to be classic Jeep enthusiasts) are totally getting screwed with production so far. Every DAY Crypto shows 35-45 Wrangler Sedans built while one or two 2-doors get built per WEEK.

This is the one thing that is making me consider just selling my trade-in outright to my dealer and just uber, etc for a few months. But then I'd lose whatever sales tax credit for the trade. So catch22...bleh

Quick stats from Crypto
859 - 2023 models being tracked
761 / 89% are 4-doors
98 / 11% are 2-doors
Of the 761 tracked 4-doors, 277 builds are complete, or 36%!
Of the 98 tracked 2-doors, 6.... yes, ONLY SIX are complete, or 6%

36% completion already on 4-doors
6% completion for 2-doors, and only ONE of those is a Rubicon.

My freaking 2019 tundra (my trade in) just sits in the driveway with the same tank of gas from July as I have decided to not risk it with all the AHOLE drivers out there. I almost got hit head on right after ordering the Jeep by a mailman reaching in the back of the mail truck. Now Itā€™s been 43 freaking days since I went to scheduled and every week my est build date gets pushed back. Iā€™m annoyed. There, that felt good! Thatā€™s my rant!
