Mine was scheduled for 02-13-23 but it was booted back because of "missing parts".
It is an absolute base model with manual transmission.

Maybe they ran out of popcorn for the manual?

Mine's an automatic. So, it seems like I should get to cut in line while they get the Jeep pups to retrieve the sticks, or whatever the holdup is. But mine has been " Scheduled" for 16 days now...

I feel the same and in same situation, but at same time I’m glad it’s not movie faster really need a pick up in may not sooner. Keep looking at the tracker and don’t see much movement with any 4.88 gears so I wonder if that’s what’s slowing me down?

This.
THIS is why a person should hang out at this forum.

I didn't even know this was going on.... wow.
If you check out the Recall Thread, you can get more info. I'm a MT also. My understanding, from a member that is part of a dealership, is Stellantis will not build vehicles without the recall fix. Good news is the vehicles in line for production get the fix first. He said in the past, grain of salt, it has taken about a month to get things lined up. You won't see any movement until fix is in.

I should think they'd stop making manuals and roll the fix, when available, out to the dealerships. Whatever the case, I'm not sure if I'm all that excited to get one of the first Jeeps with the 'fix'.

This could be... interesting.

Probably couldn’t be worse than catching on fire though…..

The dealer and Jeep Chat don't have any "behind the scenes" info until the Jeeps enter the "Build" phase, right?
Sunny days make me want my new Wrangler asap. So do snowy days. And dreary days. And nights. Afternoons, too ..

I'm kicking around canceling my order.
I've next to no confidence the manual transmission fix will actually address the issue.

I hate the idea of paying for a transmission (auto) that I won't enjoy.

I tried the builder - 4K for a transmission that doesn't blow up.
lol... yeah... no.

Yep. I ordered mine in July last year and really thought I would be able to drive it for a little while with the top down. But by the time it arrived in November that wasn't an option. So, now I'm waiting for Spring...

Did you already order? If so, I'd wait until they tell you Auto is the only option, then cancel. (If something about it was already said elsewhere, I missed it -- I don't even know how to drive a stick. ? ) But, if you cancel it now, and MT comes back into production, you'll lose your place in line.
Hold out for a manual -- being fun to drive is an important "feature!"

Maybe they will upgrade you to a 2024 @ no extra $$. (Hahaha -- I know there's not much chance of that, but it would be nice!)
