I know for a fact that my jeep was the first MY23 order they had done, as they didn't know anything about the 23 orders, let alone about Earl & Reign yet.... So fuck if I know how they're getting them so soon/fast.

Dude, I'm jealous that you even have the option to track online... I have to call my dealer if I want updates, and I was told (in a rather passive aggressive way) to leave them alone and I'll be called when they see any updates.... ??

The dealer probably ordered as a sold order by using employees names- they do that all the time.

I'm thinking of going more "Mission Impossible" with it. I've seen enough assembly line videos to know there are people at the very end who's job is to drive the Jeeps off the line and park them in a lot to await shipping. So...

1.) I case the Toledo plant and identify one of the drivers who is roughly my height and weight.
2.) I shadow them for a few weeks, taking photos, learning their mannerisms. Maybe buy them a beer and chat them up to get a sampling of their voice.
3.) I spend what I'm guessing will be $25,000 or so on a 3-D prototyper to make a perfect mask of the driver and probably another $10K for the audio system to recreate his voice.
4.) I pay some 19 year old computer hacker $10K to access the Stellantis mainframe and identify the moment my VIN is scheduled to roll off the line.
5.) After tailing the driver home from the Toledo plant the night before, I tranquilize them with a dart filled with my own cocktail of Ambien dissolved in Ny-Quil.
6.) Next day, I take the driver's place at the plant and when my Jeep rolls off the line I jump in, turn left instead of right, and don't stop till I hit Iowa...

I figure with expenses, I'm all in for about $50 grand or so, which is only slightly more than I paid for the Jeep in the first place... ?

I just spoke to my guy at the dealer (had to call him twice today to get through to him... ?), and he didn't even know about the jeeps they had on order! ??‍??‍ He is not even aware of the incoming inventory his own dealer has!!! smfh....

I mentioned that it had been six weeks since I made my order and he just replied "yeah, I don't know much about it, other than what's on my screen". When I asked about the incoming stock they had he sounded surprised and said "I don't check our website very often to see what we have incoming" ??‍??‍

You'd think as a newbie salesman he'd be trying to learn everything he could about what he is selling. Dude knows fuck all. He's like the young kids who work at Best Buy and when you try to ask them about comparison between two products they just look it up on their phones right there in front of you.... Ugh, I miss Future Shop....
