I know you had said your dealership basically told you "don't call us, we'll call you", but have you tried their online Chat if they have one? Sometimes they'll just forward you to a salesman but sometimes not. Also, I'm assuming you've tried Jeep Chat as well?Hey! Correction, I'm not whining about not getting my Jeep, I'm complaining about not having a VIN! There is a difference! ??
At some point, though, you might need to leave a few footprints on your dealer's back as you go over their head to a general manager. A VIN should be something they can provide in a timely manner. At this point it really only shows that they have a record of the vehicle with the options you've selected even if Jeep doesn't recognize it yet.
