I hate to say it, man, but if even the GM is blowing you off, you might be better off pulling the deal entirely and finding a new dealership. Before you do, though, I'd tell them (the new shop) exactly how you're being jerked around by your current dealer and see what, if anything, they can do better for you (price, communication, etc.)

Wow, my order was placed April 26th (2022). I have heard of some still waiting for their Oct 2021 order. Status has not changed as best my sales guy and I can tell on the dealers order status look up. I still don't even have a VIN. Here in Canada, we can't use the Jeep tracker site or even other sites. Jeep USA may be bad when it comes to customer service, but Jeep Canada is the very worst. I even tried calling them and their automated answering service put me in an endless loop. Even the Jeep Chat (US) guys tried it for me and they found the same problem.

So it's been over 4 and 1/2 months for me and still waiting for it to be even scheduled.

Yes frustrating, but I am a patient guy. Ask me if I am still patient 6 months from now.

I'm also down a $3k deposit.... And putting myself at the back of the Que again.... It really isn't super appealing when I know I have a long wait ahead of me. I really just want my VIN so I can work out some stuff like insurance, etc and know how much I'm paying, and have that little bit of security that yes, my Jeep has been acknowledged and will be built.
