Meh, you can always do aftermarket leather seat covers if you choose. The waiting sucks but it's worth it in the end.

Yup! This is our 2nd Jeep bought this way. I told my wife that I sold my car in 2021 for 10K more than I owed and I sold her car last month for 10K more than she owed and use the money towards a down payment. Then we bought 2 Jeeps and saved about 9-10K on those with the 6-7% under invoice deals.

Got the Vin today as well! And so it begins....
Can also confirm, my window sticker appeared exactly 2 days after it was "Built", and then 2 hours later it disappeared. The email from jeeptracker said that it can disappear sometimes.... My current status is "KZ" shipping TBD... but my dealer is only 6 hour drive from the factory so I wonder if mine is one of those cases where it's "TBD" till it just shows up at dealership.
I finally got an email from Jeep saying it’s been built. Just for shits I pasted the VIN into Google and found mine on listed on cargurus too.OHHH BOY!

Quick backstory.. Jeep went to KZ on 12/19, nothing since. No movement, no ship date, no information... Tried to research carriers to see if I could see if it was moving.
Searched my VIN. (now for the fun part)
Vehicle showed up on Cargurus.. located at my dealer.. and AVAILABLE.
Chatted with Cargurus.. confirmed vehicle status was available and asked if they wanted to have the dealer contact me about the vehicle.. no thank you, I can handle it.
Soooo. got on my dealer website.. searched VIN, nope, nothing there.
Opened the little chat box with sales.
Got me a salesman.. Gave the VIN and asked about the vehicle..
Why yes it's available, but it is in transit and not here yet..
(Grit teeth here)
me: Are you sure it's available?
Sales: why yes, I do this all the time and believe me if it was sold would know"
me: so why are you trying to sell me a sold vehicle?
ANDDD.. the sales person I was chatting with was MY SALESMAN!
Anyway... as it turned out.. he only looked it up by VIN so I don't really think he memorizes the VIN's of customers (I'll give him 1 strike) However he did state that they are supposed to put notes on the stock numbers and there was none on mine.. He put them in to make sure everyone knew it was sold.

the good part was he said their system shows its in transit and the fact it was on the carguru site means Chrysler released the information nationally and doesn't do that until a vehicle ships.. so there's that. I used to say I'll believe it when it on the lot, but now I will believe it when its in my garage since they might sell it
Might want to make sure your Dealers are aware your vehicle is sold and says so in their inventory.
Agree. Sales tactic to get them to the dealer. They know these vehicles are not available

Yeah mines been built since 12/27, Jeep brand is a little behind the jeeptracker.com on sending out the emails.
Sounds like how some of them are coping with limited inventory. Advertise sold vehicles like inventory. Get someone to come in and then try to sell them something they have on the lot instead. Shady.
Yeah we went through the same thing last year from the other side when buying my wife a new SUV, we finally realized we needed to “order” hers (its was Toyota which isn’t really an order like Jeep)
