Oh, that's great. I will take mine in too then. Wrangler loosing last selected mode after a restart has been one of my biggest pet peeves. Now if they only also fixed the center console screen to go to the last used feature after restart that would be great... so annoying that I have to click...

I don't think it was the electrical motor and components, as I had already depleted the battery getting there. I was running on gas engine power But I agree, that was my afterthought that I should have ran it in 4L. That way I could have used the lockers too.

I was thinking it was too momentary, for something to have been burning off the exhaust. Brakes are possible, but the smell didn't strike me as brake smell. Maybe I'll take the wheels off this weekend to take a closer look.
