Folks,

I am excited to say that Renee at Gupton Motors just called to say come pick up my 392! It has been a bit over 4 months since my order went in. I wish it had been quicker, but I know other folks have had to wait much longer. Gupton has been great to work with and I have gotten to take advantage of the below invoice deals and the Tread Lightly discount (worth belonging to regardless)!

Stay patient to all those still waiting. I hope to see you on some trails soon!
Thats a good day… congratulations

How are you liking her?
Love her!!! I haven’t ventured out too much. Do you notice if your battery drains faster when it’s colder? I am still trying to figure her out. How about you?!

It does drain a bit faster but I also use more gas. All in all in works great for me. She’s so beautiful!! And good in the snow!

OHHH BOY!
This was an interesting day... @Victory @Swisskidd and other people..
Quick backstory.. Jeep went to KZ on 12/19, nothing since. No movement, no ship date, no information... Tried to research carriers to see if I could see if it was moving.
Searched my VIN. (now for the fun part)

Vehicle showed up on Cargurus.. located at my dealer.. and AVAILABLE.
Chatted with Cargurus.. confirmed vehicle status was available and asked if they wanted to have the dealer contact me about the vehicle.. no thank you, I can handle it.

Soooo. got on my dealer website.. searched VIN, nope, nothing there.
Opened the little chat box with sales.
Got me a salesman.. Gave the VIN and asked about the vehicle..
Why yes it's available, but it is in transit and not here yet..
(Grit teeth here)
me: Are you sure it's available?
Sales: why yes, I do this all the time and believe me if it was sold would know"
me: so why are you trying to sell me a sold vehicle?

ANDDD.. the sales person I was chatting with was MY SALESMAN!

Anyway... as it turned out.. he only looked it up by VIN so I don't really think he memorizes the VIN's of customers (I'll give him 1 strike) However he did state that they are supposed to put notes on the stock numbers and there was none on mine.. He put them in to make sure everyone knew it was sold.

fun times...
the good part was he said their system shows its in transit and the fact it was on the carguru site means Chrysler released the information nationally and doesn't do that until a vehicle ships.. so there's that. I used to say I'll believe it when it on the lot, but now I will believe it when its in my garage since they might sell it

Might want to make sure your Dealers are aware your vehicle is sold and says so in their inventory.

Nice progress.
I wouldn’t worry about it being on the site or the salesman saying it’s available.
I bought my wife an suv in February and my mom bought one about this time last year, and every vehicle on the site was available until you go in and then all of a sudden they made a mistake or someone got it before us or whatever other stupid excuse. They are just using it as bait to lure in customers to the dealership.
My mom fell for it and bought a used suv on the lot where she was.
When we finally just ordered my wife’s, it showed up on their website, when it came in they even got real pictures for the site despite us being there the morning after it arrived, and also remained on their website for over a month after it was home with us.

Do you keep in hybrid mode mostly? I’m still getting used to the regeneration feature as well. I haven’t got to play with her too much yet . I’m hoping we get some snow soon so that I can test that out as well :) . She definitely a beauty. I need to give her a name. ?✌?

Yes, I keep it in hybrid. It was really cold here for a few days, windchill-30,so it used gas to get the vehicle warm. It goes back and forth in its own in this weather. I still haven’t decided on a name. I keep going back and forth!! lol

Wondering if that was about the time you were able to access the window sticker?

Should’ve asked the salesman if an additional online purchase commitment through CarGurus on your part would speed up the delivery process…….?

One week in shipped status estimated delivery still says 2/1/23. Dealer said it sitting in a lot waiting for a truck. Will get a better estimate when it is in outgate. Expected to get it this week. Maybe the Holidays and the storm slowed it down
It’s built. My dealer contacted me yesterday. Tracker updated today. No window sticker yet. Was hoping the delivery date would be updated. My dealer said they deliver via truck. It will not see a train. I’m in Houston Texas.

Thought for sure we would have it this week

Sooo I'm on day 151, which also works out to 21 weeks and a few days change.

Jeep was supposed to ship on Dec 23 after sitting at JS status for a couple of weeks (shipped to storage).

I spoke with my guy at the dealership yesterday and he said that in his system my Jeep had been "just shipped" but it also showed a ship date of January 8th. He was gonna try and get to the bottom of it, but I doubt it has actually shipped put as I have been unable to find a window sticker for it yet (?? here so trackers don't work for me).
