I picked mine up today in the miserable cold and rain. It was sad to see my F-150 go, but i moved into the city and it doesn’t fit in my garage! I’m super excited though because I wanted a wrangler ever since I was a little kid. It definitely took some time getting used to it on the highway, but its character started becoming second nature. The dealership obviously had some issues fitting their spare tire cover over a rubicon tire in the freezing cold!

Overall, it was a hair under 3 months from order to delivery.

Something to consider:
The limbo will end. If your order is treated like mine, you're going to speed thru D1 -> KZM. It took 3 weeks for me once they finally scheduled it. You got this ????

Ordered mine on Sept 13th, picked up today although arrived at dealer yesterday. I took care of paperwork yesterday and came home to pull my mods from the 4xe to swap onto my XR. Both Jeeps are incredible. (Traded in the '22 4xe as I really wanted the XR edition Rubi that was not available at the time.) They both feel refined but the XR has a more heavier feel to it and slightly less refined due to the increased height and larger tires. That said, I am in love with it. I put in my hardwired dash cam (Garmin mini) iPhone holder, Redline tuning hood supports, cargo management cups in the rear and started on the Ridgid cowl lights. Did I mention I love this thing?!! I sprung for the Mopar Cold air intake for shits and giggles while I was ticking off boxes and I have to say, it freaking sounds great! (Watch the old episodes of "CHiPs" on tv kind of sound!) was it worth the $500? For me, yes, to others the cost would be frivolous. That said, I love the sound. I think I am going to go to the garage and sleep next to it tonight... Gotta enjoy the new Jeep smell including the new tire scent. It will help ease anyone to sleep

This is one garage that truly is "housing" its Jeep! ? Looks right at home there.

I'm waiting for HB and the safety packages to become available again. Pretty sure I'll have to post in the 2024 Orders thread.

None of my business, but hookers and blow don't really seem to go with a "safety" package... But, hey, you do you... :)

Ookaay...

I deal with abbreviations and acronyms all day long in my job. Sometimes it's tough to turn it off. In any event since upwards of 90% (I'm guessing) of the folks posting/reading this thread -and maybe everywhere else on the forum- know what things like D; D1; KZM and KZL meant, I'd assumed it wouldn't be much of a stretch to think they'd also know what things like HB; HV; HY; GCM; FR, etc. meant.

Perhaps I'm putting too much faith in folks. :)

It isn't and they do. I assumed you'd see it was a joke as the others who have reacted to it have. My mistake. I hope the blue comes back soon. I liked that shade.

I ordered a ‘23 392 XR on 8/24, built on 10/29, delivered to dealer on 11/11, I took delivery on 11/12. Jeep tracker showed delivery TBD even after I had took delivery, although there was one day it shows estimated delivery date of 11/13 but quickly went back to TBD.
That was lightning fast. You must have hit it just right! I thought the 392 XR's were all gone by then!

I ordered my 392 XR on 6/24. It was delivered to the dealer on or about 11/14. My shipping company has picked it up and it should be to me by tomorrow (fingers crossed)

I just wanna ask a quick question:

How many people who ordered before production started for MY23 have not received their orders? Am I alone? One of a few? A few legions worth? Would be nice to know, as I am still waiting. Have an est. ship date of Dec 3, but I’m not holding my breath to that until I see a build sheet.

Ordered Aug. 2 (BC, ??)
I ordered 7/27 (confirmed 7/28) and I'm still waiting. Was scheduled and then knocked out of scheduling.

If that is your concern, read this about Maryland law regarding auto dealers (I’m assuming since your profile says Baltimore, you’ve ordered in Maryland, but maybe not. If not, check the laws in the state you’ve ordered in)… sounds to me, after reading this, you are entitled to getting your deposit back, since it would be extremely hard to prove that they incurred any expenses ordering your Jeep. In Colorado, and many other states, dealers cannot legally keep a deposit.

If, under any vehicle sales contract or agreement, the buyer is required to make one or more payments to the seller in addition to any down payments made at the time of the execution of the instrument before the seller is obligated to deliver the goods sold, then the buyer at any time before delivery or tender of the goods by the seller, may cancel the instrument. Thereupon, notwithstanding any provisions of the instrument, the seller shall be obligated to refund to the buyer, within 10 days after notice of the cancellation, an amount equal to at least 90 percent of all payments made by the buyer under the instrument, including any down payment. If the seller has placed an order for special optional equipment, paint, or similar items, or if, at the request of the buyer, the dealer has modified a vehicle which he has in stock, and the vehicle sales contract has been properly signed by all parties attesting to this fact, if the buyer subsequently cancels the contract before delivery or tender of the vehicle, the seller shall refund the down payment within 10 days after notice of the cancellation, less reasonable expenses incurred in the ordering of or the modification of the vehicle. The contract shall clearly disclose that the dealer may retain a portion of the deposit or down payment to cover any reasonable expenses incurred as a result of the cancellation of the contract. When a portion of the down payment or deposit is retained by the seller, the seller shall furnish the buyer with an itemized list reflecting all expenses incurred as a result of the cancellation of the contract. In disputed cases, the Administration shall decide whether the expenses claimed by the seller are reasonable.”
My dumbass went over the state line to VA to save about $6K. The dealership I ordered my first jeep from wasn't even willing to sell one to me at invoice (which is what they did when I got my first jeep...when I didn't know better and was expecting to pay MSRP)

Have you signed a buyer's order? I hope not...

Read through these two sections of the Code of Virginia:
https://law.lis.virginia.gov/vacode/title8.2/part2/section8.2-201/
https://law.lis.virginia.gov/vacode/title46.2/chapter15/section46.2-1530/#:~:text=Buyer's order.,exchange of a motor vehicle.

After a quick read of § 8.2-201 , I personally would be fairly confident that I could get out of whatever arrangement had been made with the dealer at the stage you're currently in... Take note of the requirements in subsection 1, specifically:

(1) Except as otherwise provided in this section a contract for the sale of goods for the price of $500 or more is not enforceable by way of action or defense unless there is some writing sufficient to indicate that a contract for sale has been made between the parties and signed by the party against whom enforcement is sought or by his authorized agent or broker.

I hope you did not sign a sales contract without your Jeep in hand. If you did not, this should be fairly straightforward for you, regardless of whatever the dealer may have said to you about the deposit being non-refundable.

Further, even if the requirements of subsection 1 weren't met and they try to use subsection 3 to pursue keeping your deposit, subsection a gives you another out...

(3) A contract which does not satisfy the requirements of subsection (1) but which is valid in other respects is enforceable

(a) if the goods are to be specially manufactured for the buyer and are not suitable for sale to others in the ordinary course of the seller's business and the seller, before notice of repudiation is received and under circumstances which reasonably indicate that the goods are for the buyer, has made either a substantial beginning of their manufacture or commitments for their procurement;
or

If you really want to get out of the purchase and get your deposit back, it should be pretty straight forward.

I would also say, in this case, being a resident of Maryland that is planning to register the vehicle in Maryland and pay Maryland sales taxes, buying out of state actually could strengthen your case, since getting your deposit back in Maryland is even more straightforward.
