My JLU Sport has been built for 7 days waiting to be shipped, just in time for it to potentially get delayed by a looming rail strike. Was scheduled to be delivered by 9/28

Mine is also supposed to be delivered the same day, 9/28, to the same place!

I did too. From Hydro Blue to Reign. I'm in C status and haven't seen any issues yet either.

I tried to add painted fenders 5 days after I ordered; my dealer said it was impossible. That was 25 days ago and it still hasn’t entered production, so I question their use of the word ‘impossible.’

perhaps, I’m fca lingo, ‘impossible’ means ‘they don’t want to bother.’

I called them actually. They connected me with a gentleman named Paul who took my name and order number. He could see all the stops on the rail and when the transport would have it at the dealer worst case. When he saw it come in he let Mike know. Great guy.

Looks like we got delivered together. Hopefully can grab it next week.

I'll be there next Saturday with my wife. Flight booked. Also, pinned down a set of XR wheels for it. Was bummed I couldn't order them as a factory option on my 4xe.

No, I have not. I need to check in with my salesperson. I am hoping production for Earl starts tomorrow as I have not seen any other Earls have a scheduled date.

Looks like my Rubicon shipped September 9th with an expected delivery date of September 29th. Crossing my fingers.

Delivery date just populated. When I spoke to one of the reps yesterday, he had said it was still in Toledo - not yet loaded on a rail car even though the status is at KZM. Didn't think about it at the time, but my bet is now that they held off on loading anything that would be in transit should there have been a rail strike. I'm in Chicago and saw yesterday that Metra and Amtrak had cancelled a bunch of routes, presumably for the same reason.

Today? It showed the estimated arrival to Mark Dodge in LA for 10/6.
I bet that train headed out today.

Still hope it shows up earlier than 10/6. Would love to have this in my garage by Halloween!

I emailed my dealer yesterday for an update. This morning I got a reply from the sales manager telling me what I already knew... sorry still stuck in "D" with no build date assigned yet.

But then he wrote "I looked at the other Reign colors and they are all with you in D." I'm not sure if he meant other Reigns ordered from just that dealership or if he's trying to say Reigns aren't moving anywhere (which is clearly not the case as shown on this forum).

Do dealers have access to data nation-wide, or just for their region or dealership?

Spoke to my dealer today. He said it’s built, but at the body vendor. His guess is that it should be here around 1st of October. They move by truck to my area, so at least I don’t have any rail worries. Still seems like a long time to be in production. I’m on day 10.

I contacted my dealership's rival yesterday afternoon to see if they could compare their turnovers. Hehehe juat hoping this ends up on my GM's desk as they're in the same region. I'll buy a Jeep from a cross-eyed jellyfish in a bicycle helmet if it gets me on the road.

Don't worry too much , mine was in for 12 days, just went to built today and delivery changed to 9/26
