That's a great question. I'm gonna go look at it. It was certainly on my initial order but they dropped it and deducted the amount from the final MSRP. I was surprised to see the missing key in the keyfob for remote start and lack of seat heater buttons.
Ah man, I would not be happy after waiting this long...

The online configurator does that. I think it’s a bug. It also does it when you select a different engine. The cold weather package is removed, and you have to add it back. I’ve noticed this from the 8000 times I kept building and rebuilding my configuration. The dealer should send you the build sheet for approval. Check and recheck those sheets!
That was my experience as well. Thankfully I checked the build sheet before it was submitted and caught the missing cold weather package. Picking her up on Wednesday.

I really wonder how many orders ended up missing the cold weather package because of this bug..

I wish I had been able to place my order in person, this snafu wouldn't have happened. Unfortunately I was overseas at the moment and it was placed via Whatsapp.
I'll settle as long as I can get remote start at least.
I would like to take a quick moment to thank you for your service Sir. I hate to read about your misfortune on your Jeep order. That dealer should be ashamed of theirselves for not making sure your POC was the way you wanted it before they placed the order. Let alone happening to an active service member. Even though they made it right taking off the MSRP, doesn’t make it right in your heart. I really hope you persue this matter a bit further. Maybe that dealership manager needs reminded who has backed the military since WWII with Willys Jeeps. Disgraceful dealership IMO. Thanks again, truly, for your service and I hope you enjoy your new Jeep…??✌

Their online build-and-price configurator has always been buggy like that for various years with certain options de-selecting other options (iirc, adding auto-4WD would always reset LED, cold-weather and other primary packages).

It's now been several months since the '23 configurator went live and despite reporting the various bugs via their 'website feedback', they're all still there and I literally can't create the exact build that I placed an order for.

"Oh, you want a 2-door Rubicon with an auto trans? Okay, please select an engine.. the 3.6L eTorque? Lovely choice. Your build has been updated with a manual trans, which isn't available with that engine. Oh, you're okay with the standard 3.6L, but want the auto-4WD? Okay, but you can only get that with the eTorque/auto combo, so let's give you the manual again and see what happens.."

Cool ?

i bought mine through Rob at Tuttle-Click in Irvine. I didn’t even bother going to any local places. My brother bought from Rob with a great experience so I didn’t take any chances of screwing around with the local guys.

Rob has mine arriving between 9/19-9/28. The trackers say 9/28. But they are still saying “built” not “shipped”.

Maybe they are on the same train.

Also ordered from Rob at Tuttle-Click. Process has been super smooth so far. Build date was two days ago so hoping I’m on the train after yours!

I’m guessing the manager forgot it when putting in your order to Jeep.

Now let's get those railroad workers some better working conditions and get this supply chain back on track...

I just don't see the clock ticking past midnight on Friday with no deal. That would be catastrophic to the country as a whole. IMHO, there's going to be an 11th hour concession.

Look into viper security/remote start systems. It has the classic “chirp chirp“ locking sound and the alarm is out of this world.

Agreed. If I am recalling correctly one of the biggest sticking points from what I read, is engineers and conductors are on call 24/7 and are expected to come into work at any time. Making work/life balance way out of whack. I may have that a little wrong, but the point of what I read was that some employees were leaving because of burnout and how their employment was effecting their home life. The potential strike has little to nothing to do with wages and benefits from my understanding.
