I talked to them out of curiosity. He said it is actually a Black Widow package. Lifted, LEDs, different interior and leather, all kinds of stuff done to it. The photo didn't show it is what happened.

Before we ordered my wifes 2023 we found several on lots that were the "Black Widow" package. Most were in the $80k price range. I found that if you use the Jeep.com locator to find a certain vehicle it doesn't show that the dealer added the "Black Widow" package. You just get hefty price tag surprise once you look at the dealer website. It wasn't something my wife was interested in.

Does the Dual Door option delay orders? I ordered a JLU Willys Sport on 6/4 and still don't have a VIN and it is not scheduled. I assume it is delayed due to Dual doors. If so, that is ok with me since I really want that option. I just figured I would ask about it since a lot of people already have VINs who ordered in June.

Maybe the wrong thread to ask but... I have too much time on my hands with my 23 order not getting scheduled, getting cold feet on the 4xe due to reliability, and now a new color out I really like.

So.. a gasser Willys Jeep, fully loaded with XR, and adding Katskin seats seems like a much better deal than a Rubicon. I know you lose a couple features but I feel like I have found a loophole to getting a Jeep I want cheaper.... like $10k

I cant change my order but Mike @ MGJ said I could cancel and start a new one as it hasn't been scheduled yet.

For '23 the 1% under invoice with FCA affiliate pricing works out to around 6.6% off MSRP. Employee pricing works out to 10.2% off MSRP (~4.7% off invoice).

I'm pretty sure the price I was given was lower than employee pricing.

As far as I can tell there's only one invoice price. The latest pricing was posted today.

10.2% off MSRP is unlikely to be 1% under invoice. For 2022s that would be in the neighborhood of 4% under invoice (depending on options).

The process was easy and I didn't feel as they were trying to get one over on me. I trust everyone till them prove me wrong. Once that happens, I'm done. Did they require a deposit for the order?

Gupton required a $1000 deposit for my order. Also, they give an additional 1% off if you finance 25k or more with their lenders. I have a truck I plan on selling before my Jeep is delivered, so I will not have the amount required for the additional 1%.

There are multiple approaches to pricing a new Jeep. The ones that I'm aware of from a dealership are relative to invoice, relative to MSRP, or relative to employee price. Yours is relative to employee price, not invoice.

I wouldn't be either. I would go with a 392 before doing that pack.
