Mine came in today! Dealer's service manager sent me this pic right off the truck. I went down a couple hours later and signed all the papers. Tomorrow I will bring the 4xe as my trade in and swap the hard tops. My current top has the CoverKing liner installed and I don't want to do that install again! XR wheels have all the bolts on mine and I am super happy about that! Going to need Amp power side steps to get into this thing. Ordered Sept. 13th. First pic is from dealer. If it posted sideways, it's not my fault!

Thanks I’ve been going through that thread as well as this one: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/the-2dr-sport-only-thread.15647/page-41

I’m a big fan of the base sport. All these Rubis are nice, but to me, even the base JL is a little too fancy for a Jeep, of course I’m not rock climbing or anything either where I need the lockers.

How did you get the Earl clear coat? Had to make a change to the order? I have been worried to do that and get kicked to the back of the line or something.
I changed my order when Earl and Reign were announced. Originally ordered Sting Gray but didn't have a VIN yet. They would not change it or ask for it to be changed if there was a VIN issued. Dealer had the Rep approve the change to Earl when it was released. I think I was lucky that it didn't hold me up too long. It's my second Jeep order from them this year so that may have helped.

Same here. The Wrangler will be my daily transportation. No intention of off roading anytime soon. Looking forward to its simplicity and lack of driving aids.
It needs a key to unlock the doors - how barbaric ?

I’m disappointed it doesn’t use a keyed ignition. We have PTS in my truck and my wife’s SUV, just doesn’t seem right in the Wrangler though.
Since I got the dual door group it looks like mine will have power locks and windows which I wasn’t planning either

Hmmmm…….Power Locks and Windows with 1/2 doors - interesting. Not enough demand for 1/2 doors without options to produce a stripped version, I’m guessing.

A keyed ignition switch would be preferred here as well. Haven’t researched enough if it could be retrofitted.

Glad you still have your patience. 10/15 is a while, but not too long compared to many around here. I have heard anecdotally that Safety groups slow things down, but I don't know if that's why mine took as long as it did or not...
