Considering I ordered 2.5 months before rumored production, I'm in no hurry. I have 3 other vehicles to drive so it won't bother me one bit if it takes longer. If I wanted it now I would have found something on a dealer lot. Both dealer and JC have me in D1 status since last week. It is what it is.
There doesn't seem to be massive dips in build sheets or window stickers that would be expected if that was a significant part of their scheduling.

2023 Jeep Wrangler sport
I don’t understand any of this (much like everyone else). I ordered 7/4 and still C status. I can’t take one off a lot because I ordered a 2 dr w/ 3.6 non-e torque and MT. Rare as hens’ teeth from what I see in dealer inventory near me. It’s odd because every previous time I’ve bought Jeeps (3 others) dealer inventory in NoVA has been about half MT and the 3.6 has been the only engine choice (except for my 4.0L straight six … a moment of silence for that one please). I guess they’re not as popular anymore.
That is crazy! My order went in the day before on the 30 th jeep delivered in March! I just don’t get how the build process can be off like this

Thank you! That's encouraging. It looks like once they started building them, they were building them every week. The only slightly discouraging piece would be that production began in December and it took roughly 8 weeks to start 2 dr builds....but...that's still good news!
