The VIN is the order they make them?

If you have your VIN you can use this site if you don't know already:

Just click the button Track New Order and add vin and a name you wish.

It was created by the admins I believe here on the forums. It will show you the information it can find on the build. I click it everyday even though I know it will not change for a while yet!

where are you seeing these posts? I’ve seen a lot of people wondering if it would happen, but haven’t seen anyone say that’s what happened to them.

Yeah just a guess but they may just be trying to clear the 2021s to keep on schedule for 22. Unless they ordered after 10/4 and the dealer just didn't tell them it was going to be 22.

Yep, looks like people who ordered after the 4th, when Jeep stopped accepting orders for 2021 models.

its confusing for some people because Jeep’s own website is still listing the 2021’s like you can order them.

Does anyone know when 2022 production starts? I am seeing a lot of posts where builds are being changed from 2021 to 2022. I ordered a 2022 Tuscadero Sahara and very excited. Thanks!

My dealer is saying a 12/6 start of 22 production. Also waiting on a tusecerado and have already received my vin.

I was also told that 12/6 is build 1 for the new model year. This from my escalation advisor via phone on Tuesday this week after my 21 that I ordered on 8/2 was delivered and sold by the dealership last week. i‘m now waiting for Dec to get here ASAP.

Holy hell this is a recurring issue it seems. I need to start texting my salesmen every few weeks to remind him not to sell my Jeep!

Don't want anyone driving it either unless a Tech Check. Which is under 15 miles to me or better yet under 10.

I totally recommend calling/text as such as possible. Even call and talk with the sales manager.

it took a week for us to agree to additional compensation agreement and a come to Jesus meeting with the new sales manager & owner of the dealership. I‘m getting a hack of a deal!!!
