I hadn't heard that, if its May 18th that might put mine in 2022
I read it on here a few days ago I think, but then heard from a local dealer the same thing. Since the local dealership was so overpriced I reached out to quit a few other dealers and another saif the same thing. While they "could" have been trying to get me to order sooner they had no reason to as I was upfront about wanting to get an order in asap. My order finally went through this morning (missed the cutoff yesterday) but it is still showing as a pending order with only a VON and no VIN. Every dealer was consistent with saying my order may get bumped to a 2022 due to parts shortages etc. I could have stripped it down but really wanted the options and would rather wait than settle. On the 392 forums quite a few are seeing their 2021s moved to 2022s as well so I have a feeling there may be some truth to all the rumors.

I put my order in 5/4 but missed the cutoff so it went in 5/5 and was able to add Gorilla Glass 5/7 and I had a VIN 5/10

I read about the gorilla glass on here, thats part of why waited a few extra days. Not all dealers were able to add right away for some reason. I went through a bunch of windows on my 2019 and 2020 so $95 for Gorilla glass was a must have. Hopefully thats not one of the options that pushes me out lol. I figure Gorilla glass, cold weather, front trail camera, and the 8.4 alpine setup are most likely to cause a delay. Maybe LED also. For Bronco the hardtops are an issue, hopefully not the case with Wrangler.

I feel you! I ordered all the electronic gizmos so I can see it possibly getting delayed because of that

I hope thats not the case, but if it does happen I hope some cool new color or option comes out so I wont feel so bad. would love a Purple "Mojave" Unlimited, but pretty sure neither are even remotely possible.

I do think the 2022 will get the 8.4" Uconnect 5 from the Grand Cherokee L, but that alone is not enough to make me wait. I am actually fine with the current setup for my needs.

The only thing id want from waiting for a 2022 would be Uconnect5 , My color I wanted finally came back so I'd hate to lose that

Seem here. Hoping for more options available from Jeep as well to compete the the plethora of options Ford is offering for the Branco. I hate waiting but I am hoping it's worth it.

I think we'll see more options from Jeep once the Bronco is actually being built, until then I don't think so, I don't even know when they are supposed to be coming out now, my neighbor ordered one and he has no idea

The Bronco keeps getting pushed back. I got to go see them Friday, they were really nice but it will be a long time before they are out. A few will get them late summer if they have soft tops etc. But a lot of options pushed it out. I have a reservation that requires waiting on the 2022 model year. That won't start being built until January 1 2022. I was told expect delivery summer 2022 if lucky, maybe even fall. That is a big part of why I ordered yet another JLUR. Bronco is pretty much vaporware at this point, but at least its pushing Jeep to make some wrangler changes like the 392.

Makes sense. If no changes are coming I may just look for a 21 on a lot here in SoCal.

Yeah I thought about waiting for the '22 as well because of the uconnect 5 but from what I heard it won't be in the Wrangler so I decided to just order a '21. It just came in Friday and I love it!crazy thing was I ordered at the end of March, price increased $400 from when I built it on the website to when I ordered it. Then when the sticker price hit on Monday, it had a $325 increase on it. Of course the dealer tried to pass that onto me but I said no way. I guess they had to wait for an allocation or something to order it so they didn't technically order mine will 4/5. Crazy stuff!

Is Gorilla Glass an option for Rubicon's?
Yes, I have it on my new order. The first few days it was not available on a Rubicon, but a few days layer it was.
