Make sure you are going back to the dealer at which you bought the Jeep ..
Does that matter? I’ve never had to deal with anything like this so I’m legitimately asking. I just went to the closest dealer to me when the smoke/steam started and that was 3.4 miles.

So after being surrounded by steam, you drove it 3 1/2 miles? What did the temp gauge say?
Never got hot. Never above 217°. Like never ever in the almost 4 yrs I’ve had it. Still didn’t shown hot at dealer when they pulled it in to diagnose it.

Yes you really need to. Contact them or go see them, ESPECIALLY if you purchased this so called lifetime power train warranty through them . Take the k&n cold air intake off prior to seeing them if you need to

151,000 miles on it in 4 years... that's 37, 500 a year. And a dealer offered lifetime warrantee. My money is on the dealership in this case, but it will definitely be on the fine print on that warrantee paperwork. If you signed it, you signed it. To be honest, you're not going to find a lot of people who are trying to have warrantee work done on ANY vehicle that high mileage. And to be doubly honest, I don't fault a dealership for offering lifetime warrantee if it comes with the stipulation "no aftermarket anything." Actually seems like a decent business move. Probably forces a lot of people to use their service department for the life of the vehicle. And if my vehicle is just a mode of transportation, I'd probably consider that.

Huh? You hopefully realize that people sometimes move and sometimes even buy a vehicle in other states. I've been known to do both.

Trying to have warranty work done at that high mileage…guess they shouldn’t have offered a lifetime powertrain. And no where in the paperwork does it state no aftermarket parts. Hence my PSA…Also the stipulation is mileage documented and receipts to match. Which is stated above so I’m sure you read that…And My jeep is not just a mode of transportation. It is my whole life. The reason it’s got that many miles. Maintenance has been done and more. I change my tires every year. I trail ride and I DRIVE! Those miles shouldn’t affect it. ?

Multiple problems here, Jeep has 150k miles, lifetime warranty is offered by the dealership(not the manufactuer), these type of warranties actually have their own terms and conditions which include no mods, stricter than factory maintenance interval, who can perform work etc.
