Blown dash speaker? Infotainment/Alpine

Anyone else have a speaker go yet? My dash driver side knee is definitely blown. Not a big deal just curious if anyone else had it happen?

There is definitely something wrong with that speaker. There are a couple of threads talking about it. A lot of people have the same problem. Potential fix here but I haven't tried it. https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/speaker-issue.6166/page-5#post-251396

Is it the speaker by your left knee or the small one by your right knee?

Right knee is the temp sensor for climate. So it is the left. Thanks for the link, I'lI check it out this weekend. Hopefully I'll narrow it down to what they did and stuff some sound deadner on it.

the driver knee speaker on mine is miserable - very muffled and sounds like it blew out too. with music, the bass sounds horrible, and when listening to talk radio the voices are severely muffled and vibrate that whole side of the dash.

bring this back up to the top, I have this issue. Dealership telling me its a module behind the speaker. stay tuned

What did you hear back from the dealer on this? This thing is driving me crazy!
