2019 in Norcal

Hi,

About to be a first time Wrangler owner. I've been searching the forums looking for information around good dealers in Northern California. Can anyone recommend someone? I'm open to driving 8 hours or less also.. I would appreciate any feedback around pricing in the area. Seems like the Bay Area doesn't give big discounts and I've seen many folks on this forum get 5% or more under invoice around the country.

Most people from California go to Jim Marsh in Vegas, Dennis Dillon in Idaho, or Kent Peterson in Idaho (forgot name of that dealership)

Recommend Powell in Escondido, Cal . ; "Oprah Blythe" is the contact .

Problem with 'out of state' is not protected by Cali lemon law , (unless active military) .

I have heard good things about South County Jeep in Gilroy. You should be able to get close to 5% off invoice from them.

The dealership name is Peterson , in Nampa Idaho , and Kent is the contact .

The Costco Auto is not under Invoice like the other dealers correct? I keep hearing 6k to 7k under Invoice is that correct? I am in SoCal and the Lemon Law is nice so I'll check into Escondido and the others. I thought the Costco was nice since there is no haggling

I placed my order yesterday for a 2019 Moab in Ocean Blue....can't wait!

The good news is I was able to find a dealership in NorCal willing to come close to the out of state deals. I did pay a little more but it was worth it not to have to hop on a flight, drive 600 miles and deal with the CA DMW.

I asked the salesperson if I could share his contact info and he is happy to help any forum members.

Things must have changed in Concord! We contacted them and got the usual gamesmanship that old school dealers use. You know things like "Ocean Blue those are rare and we get a premium price for those". Once the games began we walked away.
We got 13% below MSRP at South County Marin with no games and took about an hour to complete the process.

Hello Dee, thank you for the tip. I'm new to the forum and a hopefully a future Wrangler owner . May I ask who is your contact at South County Marin? Do you just ask for the internet sales department? Thank you.

Also, I just found out Costco doesn't have the 2019 prices yet, however there webpage looks to have the same 2018 MSRP and Invoice prices so if the discounts apply to options it may even out the price to be commensurate with the others. I'm getting used to the waiting game since most other comments are saying they are waiting for the 2019 so why not wait for Costco to see what they have. More to come. Hopefully good news
